I admit it. I gained the weight back. Almost 20 pounds. And it was my fault. I ate poorly and didn't exercise. I let all the hard work for 2011 go to waste in the first 6 months of 2012. But, that's the past. That is done and over. It is time to move forward.
So, I have registered for the Omaha Half-Marathon on September 23rd. And I am committing right now to spend the next 98 days making some changes.
First is exercise. The HM training has this pretty well taken care of for a couple of days a week, but I need to make sure I keep up with it. I will keep up with my strength training. Even when I was training for the Disney Princess HM in February, I let my training slide at the beginning of the year. That will not happen this time.
Second is nutrition. I will use my SP tracker again and use it consistently. I will get my 8 glasses of water in a day. I will stay within my nutritional goals as much as I possible can.
Third is my weight. I am confident that following the first two commitments will help me with this. But my goal is to be under 200 pounds by the HM. This means 98 days for 21 pounds. That is about 1.5 pounds down a week.
Fourth...I will accept responsibility if the above commitments do not happen. I am responsible for my own life and I make the choice to follow my nutrition plan or not. I make the decision to exercise or not. I accept the responsibility of my actions.
So my SP friends. I will keep you up to date because I know that blogging will keep me accountable.
Have a great Father's Day!
