SO -- I had a GREAT weighin today. :) 184, 25. something % body fat, WOOHOO!!!
I wrote it down so I can get it right later, but YAY. It seems that getting straight on my hormones has got me back to my normal self.
Back to why I'm slightly terrified -- I'm starting MAKING THE CUT today. EEEK!!
I'm gonna leave for a long lunch at 2PM and go to the gym and DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's going to be so hard.... but I'm going for it. :) I counted out the days and if I do it exactly to plan, starting today has me off on every Sunday which is preferable. So we'll see how this goes...
It basically consists of 5 circuits of 2-5 strength training type moves sandwiched with a minute of cardio in between each circuit. I'm nervous for how hard it's going to be, but I'm also excited to have a plan to follow that will reallllly change things up. It's all about not being repetitious, which is what I hear is really good. BUT! I'm excited and nervous. :)

AWWW YAY! What a wonderful surprise to logon and find a SparkMail from someone congratulating me on being in the Spotlight! :) Then I visit my page and find tons of wonderful comments!
Thank you to everyone who visited (or will visit) my page today and your comments!!! It is really wonderful to be at this stage in my health/fitness journey, but I did start out with nothing. I did not excercise, I was eating like CRAP, and I was almost 300lbs. If you're just starting out -- remember -- YOU CAN DO THIS. You just have to stick with it and don't give up even if you make a mistake it doesn't mean your progress is all down the drain. If you keep moving in the right direction, you will get there eventually.
P.S. -- My workout went well last night. :) WOOHOO!!

SOOoooooOOOO. :) I'm still a little sore today - WOOHOO!! I can't wait to go work that soreness out as soon as I get off of work. I'm feeling a little tired -- maybe slept a bit TOO much last night, but today was a great day. :)
Woke up when I woke up. No alarm, NOTHIN'.
Watched the Season Premiere of America's Next Top Model and some of the new episode of Biggest Loser that were saved for me on TiVo.
ALSO! Last night I went to Barnes & Noble and picked up a couple of books: Making the Cut by Jillian Michaels, and a cookbook.
I haven't looked at Making the Cut yet, but it was recommended by a good SparkFriend (KACHAFFE82) who seems to like a real KICKBUTT workout, and I've come to like Jillian over time... so yeah. :)
The cookbook was in the bargain books and it's meals based on the Glycemic Index. While I don't want to base my whole diet on counting Glycemic Index Numbers, the properties of the food this kind of diet recommends seem to align with a lot of the ways I want to eat. SO! I flipped through it and it had some good looking stuff and it was 10% off of $9.98 (CHEAP for a cookbook), so I picked it up. :) I looked at it a little bit last night. I think it might have been written by a Brit. It always had aubergines in parentheses for eggplants was one clue. But anyway, some of the recipes were kinda WEIRD, but a lot of them look REALLLLLLLY good. :) The fat is a bit high for some of the recipes, but I can always tweak the recipes a bit for my purposes. It looks really good.
So anyway - GYM tonight, gonna go for my 30min superintense cardio + focuses ST plan again tonight. Didn't get lower body ST in last night, so I might do a couple tonight for that -- but to be honest -- although I know it'd be ideal to be incorporating lower body ST, my lower body gets a really great workout from the cardio I do, so I will definitely put the priority in my ST on Upper Body and then Core. My upperbody needs the most work.
I'm not going to guilt myself into not doing ST just because I didn't do my lower body stuff last night like I thought I might. :P I'm getting in there and sticking to my guns!!! (And working on my guns. HAR HAR.)
Since the DH isn't coming along tonight, I know I'll have extra time so we'll just see. It also means I WANT to go home quicker. ;) hahaha.
But the plan is - Gym tonight. Work tomorrow. Tomorrow night - HAVE FUN (maybe start looking at Making the Cut?). Saturday - GYM. Also, look more seriously at the cookbook and plan some meals to try. Get some small groceries as needed. And look at Making the Cut (some more?). But mostly also - RELAX.
Sunday - Church + laundry. :P hahaha. :D And more relaxing.
I'm not going to run myself ragged like I did last weekend -- I learned my lesson. ;)

YEAH!!!! I'm actually a little sore today -- this RULES!! I haven't felt that awesome sore muscle feeling in a while -- and the fact that it feels new to me again is kinda sad, but it really helps emphasize to me that I need to keep up my plan of ST.
My shoulders, armpits, and triceps are sore. Biceps not so much. So at least I know maybe where I can add some emphasis in ST if I can next time. And tomorrow is NORMAL DAY! YAY!!!!
I took my little "snack break" just a few minutes ago so that's going well so far. I did start getting hungry at right about that time, so I think I've got the timing figured out. I eat in the morning before I leave for work at roughly 8-8:30AM. Then I'm at work at 9AM. Food at 12PM, LUNCH at 3PM, food at 7PM, then dinner when I get to make it, usually between 10:30-11PM depending on how long it takes me to really get home and what we're going to eat. So that puts me eating something at least every 3-4 hours. I think this will really help me not to feel so drained, and be a better distribution for my calories. (I HOPE!) hahhaha.
Today I'm having a Dannon Light 'N' Fit and Baby Carrots w/ some Laughing Cow Light cheese at each little snack break.
ALSO... I'm wearing a dress today. ;) OOH LA LA! I took some pictures of it when I wore it on Sunday which I might get around to posting someday......
