OH good GRIEF.
I did not do as well as I expected myself to do while gone...
I DID do well on the working out!!! Only missed ONE day. :) I actually worked out on Christmas Morning, believe it or not. Listened to Hanson's Christmas album. :) hahahaha.
But the FOOD.
Cuban Restaurant -- Ooooh PLANTAIN SOUP! Fried plantains a plenty, steak, some fries, some other fried things... SO GOOD... my grandmother constantly providing food and always asking if we've had enough when I'm totally STUFFED, Trying to get on track when driving all day, ate a light breakfast but never stopped allllllll day. Got to the in-laws and they had these AMAZING cookies out!!!! ALSO not to mention, I ate at every restaurant I never get to eat at.
So... I dunno. I dunno how I did. I haven't weighed myself yet. I came back today and had just enough time to change and come in to work. I plan to check my results tomorrow.
BOTTOM LINE: WHATEVER HAPPENS, IT WILL BE OK.
If I see 200 again, so be it. I know I can overcome this obstacle and my wayward actions during the holidays. I am proud of myself for the changes I DID make during the season. I did eat LESS than I normally WOULD have. I WORKED OUT while on VACATION.
I RAN OUTSIDE IN THE COLD. Granted, I could only run for like 20 minutes... I still don't have warm weather running gear and I foolishly thought I was going to be ok, but I wasn't. :P
I DID MY STRENGTH TRAINING. So not only did I get in some cardio, I did squats, bridges, crunches, reverse crunches, dumbell curls, tricep extensions, all that good stuff.
I am really really really realllllly anxious to get back to normal though. Tracking is going to be very important to me these next weeks. In fact, I'm going to make it the first challenge for the new Spring Semester of the Challenge of Harry Potter.
