Week 2 Results - MAINTENANCE!

Yeah, guess what not tracking and several days of willy nilly gets you?

NO pounds off the scale.

This week I will be on track, and it will start with tracking.

Still super glad not to have gained, especially considering yesterday I went all crazytown at the church potluck, so I have had no recovery time from that incident! Hoping for a good loss week this week, but hoping won't get it done. Time to get cracking on some ACTION.

I DID get out for a run yesterday. Last week's mileage total was about 12 miles - suuuper wimpy. But I haven't got a longer run in the mix yet and that was on 3 days of running. This week I am adding a day and lengthening the longest run. I'd tell beginner runners not to do both at once but I'm a returner, not a beginner. So my old fitness should be bouncing right back as I pick things up. That's the idea, anyway.

Today: Meal plan and grocery shop. Do ST. Track everything. Hoop for at least 10 min. Plan running up to half in April.

Also, I totally thought of you this AM! There was someone hooping on the beach in the dark. How did I know she was hooping if it was dark? Because her hoop was all lit up with multicolored lights! SUPER NEAT-O!

    I think you should be PROUD of yourself! If you maintained even AFTER eating a ton the day before, that's probably a good sign that you DID lose this week, its just being masked by some pesky water weight! I think you'll do great this week and see some killer results!!! Keep up the amazing work honey!!

    I track- even on days when I do make rather crappy choices, mainly so I can't say.. oh. I ate okay. The tracking tells me the truth-LOL! But, I don't weight all the time - that drives me nutty. Each their own!

Are you actually signing up for a race in April?

    OMG HOW DID I MISS THIS?!?!?!? This is amazing!!! I've never been coordinated enough to hula hoop like that!!! Now I'm antsy to try!!! There's some hoops at the Curves I teach at, perhaps I'll try the next time I'm in - though I KNOW I won't look as fabulous as you do!!!

Next - you look incredible!!! You look like a strong fabulous woman!!! You don't look like you weigh what you do (in reference to the comment you left on my blog) and I think you look amazing!!!

    You are so talented with the hoop! To be able to dance and spin and move like that and keep the hoop going! WOOHOOOO!!!! And I wish I was able to hoop inside, but mine is too big and my space is too small.. so far it's outside only. Alas!

    Fantastic! I just loved it! You are way ahead of me, I hope to be able to move as gracefully some day and do lifts! I can at least hoop in both directions but have a long way to go! I really like your choice of music too. Not hard to tell you are really enjoying yourself! Thanks for sharing!

I haven't been tracking. That stops today. Still been doing better I think than before, minus V-Day treats. Overall I think I'm still in good shape to continue on this path of being uber-diligent. I just wasn't. For the past few days. But I'm jumping right back on the wagon!!! I have to! Or else I will never reach that goal.

Also I think I'm gonna do a Vlog of hooping at some point - been motivated by my new Hooping SparkTeam. :)

Sometimes I think it's good to get off track a bit... makes it easier to stay on track, if that makes sense... When you crave veggies and exercise, you know you're ready to get back on the wagon!

Week One Roundup - SUCCESS!

So I wasn't perfect - I didn't get in all the cardio I wanted (missed a run due to weather and didn't make up for it by hooping).

BUT! I DID track everything except on my splurge meal day, and I DID do my ST 3x last week.

Result - from 191 to 188.5

No big shocker there. I followed the plan that has always worked for me, and I saw the results I expected to see. WOOHOO! Now to continue that positivity even when the results don't come as quickly as expected... I'm sure it will happen in the future since I'll be closing in on goal quickly (within a couple months).

I just need to remind myself how positive actions will always lead to positive results, even if it takes time or aren't the specific numbercrunching results we want to see. ST will never be BAD for me. Tracking my food and eating healthy is a GOOD thing. (since I'm not overly restrictive or struggling with those kind of tendencies, it's a good thing for ME to do the tracking.) Anyway, you get the drift.

Day 7 Tracking - In range!

So I was a little off on my Day 6 - ended up not tracking the entire day.

But Day 7 went well! Got stuff to do today, no work... just trombone choir this evening... but lots of laundry to tackle and some chores and I should run and do ST. So I should have a decently busy day, afterall! Oh and I need to go grocery shopping. I also need to weigh in... will wait until later this morning.
