Just thought I'd add that picture because Gabrielle Reece is one of my main fitness motivational bodies.
I was just deleting the old comments from my SparkPage -- NOT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THEM ANYMORE!!! But because my "Edit SparkPage" was taking 500 years to load. But anyway...
It was nice to kinda see my history a little bit. The "Welcome to 270 villes" and "Welcome to 250-ville"s and "Welcome to the Community Team" and "Congrats on 43 lbs lost" and "Congrats on halfway" and so forth...
Just really reminded me how far I've come.
This week I weighed in at 225.5 -- almost 65 lbs lost! I'm almost to that magic mystery zone past the "lowestnumberonscaleasanadult" point. It's very exciting.
It also means that soon I won't even fit my old clothes that I've been wearing... :) (I know I blogged to the excess recently about new clothes, so I won't wear that old tale out.) It's just exciting to see how much progress I've made.
Now I'm working on running, and that's exciting, too, even if I'm still horrible at it, the fact that I'm working on this makes me feel really cool. :) hahahaha.
I never blogged about this, but I mentioned it in a couple of SparkTeams.
Monday my MP3 player wouldn't turn on. :(
I was so freaked out. And of course this is at the gym right before I'm going to start my run. *SIGH* So I was like -- do I run without MUSIC?!??!?? I COULD do this on a treadmill and hook my headphones to TV stuff... but I haven't done this on a treadmill YET.... and there's nothing on the TV's I want to watch ANYWAY...
So I braved the track with no music to distract me, ready to embark on the hardest run yet -- the beginning of Week 4 in the Couch to 5K program.
Week 3 has you running a cumulative time of 9 minutes, whereas week 4 has a cumulative running time of 16MINUTES. Longest continual runtime before was 3 minutes, now FIVE minutes. BUT I DID IT. I finished it, maybe slow running, but I didn't walk any of the running portions.
AND AND AND.
I get home and try charging the MP3 player (although I JUST charged it up on Sunday and loaded the Week 4 podcast to prepare for Monday).... AND IT STARTS CHARGING!!! Apparently I somehow turned it on and it drained out overnight without my knowledge. SO YAY. It's not broken.
