Sunday evening...I often go Nordic walking or jogging on Sunday evening. I'm enjoying the longer days of summer while I can. Last night I decided to leave the poles at home and run my usual route. I've got my eye on a 10K race at the beginning of September and it's certainly not to early to get serious about training. As I was running, I was reflecting on/praying about things that came up in the morning worship service, and after a bit, I realized that the running was easy! Granted, my pace was slow, but since I started running again a few months back (after a pause of something like 20 years!) I've really had to concentrate on form, breathing, posture and such. Yesterday evening, I was just running for awhile, the form and breathing just fell into place as my mind was occupied with heavenly things --- and that felt really good!
