Down down

Monday, December 10, 2012

Thankfully the scale is moving down again and even though its only been a few pounds down I see a big difference. I guess I a getting little enough that 3 pounds is more noticeable than when I was over 200. For some reason that never occurred to me before. I was gifted some amazing designer jeans to wear and I have to admit when I have them on I look pretty hot. I have the opposite problem I used to have. Guys hit on me nonstop. Not a bad problem to have and very flattering, although still feels weird to me. However they are the looking for one thing type guy and that's not what I am trying to attract! Men are such strange creatures. I give up lol. I'm to crazy to date anyway. Scare em off in less than a month. Sure of it. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Yay! I'm so happy for you! I know that when I went to Walmart and got pants in a size 18/20 I was so happy. I *know* I look good in them. I used to be a 28/30, down 50 pounds and still wanting more. Keep up the great work!

Embrace it. Can't get rid of it. Own it.

Ya I'm crazy. Riding the roller coaster. Sick of it. At the bottom not the top. Rather be at the top. At least I have some enjoyment at the top. Rapid cycling sucks.

Today's rambling

Thursday, December 06, 2012

What are stumbling blocks and defeat before you, can be stepping stones to victory if you remain determined. I read that this morning and thought it was a good way to look at things when you are struggling. The holidays are stumbling blocks for many. Myself included so I am going to make it through and make it a victory. Other thoughts on life: soon I will have an empty nest, a 3 bedroom 2 bath house all to myself. It will be weird. What will I do with all the space? If it was a time to sell I'd swap for something smaller and cheaper. I don't really want to do the roommate thing... Or foster care or anything like that. Just wander the house I guess.

Great attitude on the stumbling block - I am a empty nester - enjoy the peace and quiet for a while , travel , then adopt animals. Soon you might have grandchildren to fill up those rooms. LIL Racer emoticon

Becoming an 'Empty Nester' is a big change in anyone's life. It would probably be a good thing to wait for six months at least to find out how you feel about it before you make any moves.
The holidays are going to be a challenge for me too - we'll be nine in house for a total of five days (which is plenty enough!) - so we can support each other emoticon
Sending hugs XXXXX
