Sleep!

Wednesday, October 28, 2009

I am sleeping for longer periods through the night! Not always, but much better. I usually go to sleep after 11:00 p.m. and don't wake up until after 5:00 a.m. instead of every few hours or every time I turn over.
Some of this I think is because I have lost weight (hurray!) and perhaps the foods I am or am not eating. I find my nose is not all clogged up and I can breath through it instead of my mouth.
Anyway had to share.

I am glad that you are sleeping better. It was nice when I discovered that it is possible to sleep for 7 hours straight. Congratulations, too, on reaching 10,250 fitness minutes! Keep up the good work.

Today I started a new ticker! Five pounds gone! I notice some of the clothes that were tight are not so tight. Gotta keep going!

Fat Clothes Gone!

Thursday, October 08, 2009

Last Monday I gave all my clothes that were too big away to a family that can use them! I did keep one dress to remind myself where I was. I may take it to a Spark Convention someday!
I am now wearing clothes that I have not worn in over 10 years. Yes, I do keep things but no more fat clothes.

That is a true sign that SP is working for you, and that you have confidence that you will not go back to the larger size. I got rid of my larger clothes so I would not have anything to go to IF I gained weight...now when my smaller things start to feel the least bit snug; it reminds me to pay attention to what I need to be doing. emoticon emoticon Sharon

Aghhhh

Friday, October 02, 2009

I was going to change my ticker to show my new weight when I lost another five pounds after loosing the 50. I have struggled with the loosing and am just about where I was in September. I am not sure why I ended up doing the changes but when all was done I have been consuming too many calories for my new weight!!!
We will see what happens now!

50 Pounds Down!

Saturday, September 19, 2009

Yesterday I met my goal of loosing 50 pounds! I am stoked to put it mildly! Thank you SparkPeople and all my Spark Friends for your encouragement! The weight first started coming off when I started counting calories on January 31, 2009. I had joined SparkPeople November 2, 2008, and started drinking 8 or more glasses of water a day and then in the beginning of January '2009 I started exercising for ernest.

I am really delighted and now on to the next goal!

Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap.....
(standing up) CLAP - CLAP - CLAP - CLAP CLAP CLAP!!!!

Huge hug! That's what hard work looks like. I always say, I wonder if I ever would have started if I'd known, but then there are moments like this when it is...

Keep going, you can do it!

I am so happy for you that you've met a goal. It will make the next seem even more attainable, and so on until you're at your ideal weight. I know you can do it.

I've been concerned with all the earthquakes in the Pacific this week that you might be affected. I was happy to see that you're in the north Pacific rather than the south Pacific. Let's hope that the world stabilizes and no more lives are lost and people made homeless or injured from the wrath of nature. God must be trying to tell us something!

Hugs and WAH HOO!
