Although I am working out on a regular basis and am within my calorie range, my weight loss is really too slow. Thinking back to 2004, I did go on a diet which was called "Fit for Life" by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. It is not actually a diet but a way of eating. They do not combine proteins with carbs. You can eat carbs with veggies and proteins with veggies. No pasteurized milk products. Fruits only in the morning. Maybe I will try this again because I did manage to lose some weight back then and since I am hypothyroid, it is a regime that is recommended. It will not be easy because my family members will not eat like I will. Meal planning will be a tad more difficult.
