The goal of being more active on a daily basis is becoming a reality. I am more active today than I have been in years! I do enjoy exercising a lot but was horribly inconsistent. No wonder that the pounds piled up. Despite the fact that I am hypothyroid and menopausal, which contributed some, there is no reason why I look like what I look like now. In April I did weigh 183 lbs (for a 5'1" person) and I do plan on losing weight over the next while down to about 125 lbs. Being that I am now 60 years old, I do not wish to go skinny again. A little bit of weight is good for one when you reach my age.
