Today I tightened up a bit more on my eating - just forgoing desserts and candy clearly isn't enough; so today when I caught myself thinking about a bagel (the big ones at Dunkin Donuts but mulitgrain!) and coffee with real cream, I said whoa! sister, you don't need all that - get back to the office (I was running errands at lunch time) and have greek yogurt with blueberries (which I did) and then had a nice salad filled with veggies/boiled ham and my own vinaigrette dressing for dinner tonight (DH is still working). It felt good to say "no" to myself. Need to do it more.
Also have upped the indoor exercise to at least 50 minutes allocated between the elliptical and stationary bike, both at good resistance levels.
Let's give it a week and see what happens .....
