This is the first year since I reached my goal weight that I have "let myself go" during the period between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day - the result is a gain of 2 to 3 pounds. This is a serious thing for me as I am very short (5'0") and three pounds really makes a difference. I know what the issue has been - I eat my fruits and vegetables, low fat dairy, lean meat, whole grains, etc. and I exercise regularly - my weakness is desserts - which I have had regularly and it shows! I am becoming the girl who couldn't say "no" (!) and it has to stop NOW, this very second! There, it has helped to write it down.
