Day 14- FITNESS CHALLENGE - almost halfway!

14/30 day p90x challenge.

Workouts this week were mentally easier then week one. The workouts are hard but a little experience goes a long way. It is time to incorporate better nutrition into the mix.

I feel as if I need to exercise now to feel good as oppose to chill out to feel good. My one rest day a week is good enough.

It is also easier to stick to the program as I travel since it is easy to throw the videos in my bag and do the workout where I go.

My rating of p90x is 8 out of 10.

p90x - 30 day fitness challenge - Yoga x

On a scale of 1-10 today I feel about a 5. Not feeling myself today. Sick to my stomach, tired, chills/hot...ick.

I climbed stairs at lunch today for 30 minutes...slowly, but still painfully. I can not belive how hard climbing stairs can be, especially when I am feeling clamy.

I did 45 minutes of the 90 minutes of yoga before I just crapped out. I don't feel good but really that just gave me an excuse. I am not overly happy wiht myself today. I am not 100% disappointed either...I just know I can do better.

We all have our days and it is just one of them days...

P90x- 30 Day Challenge

Yes, yes, yes I am 1/3 of the way there! I feel good about what I have accomplished so far. Today was round two of Arms & Shoulders and then Ab Ripper X. I stepped up the weight for my arms. I definatley need to get more weights for variety purposes.

As Phil from Duck Dynasty would say "Happy, happy, happy"...

    way to go! i have heard that is crazy hard to do! i have a friend who is on her second round of insanity and lost a TON of weight the first go through :) emoticon emoticon

Day 9- FITNESS CHALLENGE- It's Routine

P90x- I am now in my second week of my 30 day p90x challenge and I am in the routine. Mentally, working out an hour plus a day strangely gets easier when it becomes part of the everyday routine. Everyone around me knows that I am going to consume the T.V. for at least 1 hour a day.

It also helps to put some walk to all that talk. I don't know how many times I have said "Starting tomorrow..." This repetitive proclamation then lack of commitment has yielded a lack of faith in my word. However, by day 9 of consistent effort to stick with the program, I have started to restore that faith.

What I look forward to is the question "wow, you look great, how did you do it?" I am not sure people like the answer which is inevitable "I consistently worked out and watched what I ate"...

After 9 days, my pants are a little looser. Small successes equals a happy girl...Looking forward to posting my before and after pictures...

890 calories burned!

My body feels tired but stronger and more flexible...

Now off to get some well deserved rest!
