FITNESS CHALLENGE----tomorrow Day 1

Word #1 = Anxiety
Statement #1= Desire to finally lose some weight and get stronger

Committment #1:

For the next 30 days I will follow the p90x fitness program....I will incorporate 120 minutes of cardio along with the p90x program.

I will get up and do p90x in the morning! First thing. No excuses. I will find an interval cardio program to increase my cardio endurance.

WHY DO I HAVE ANXIETY???? Failure in this case is a choice. I am not going to fail.

I will check in tomorrow a.m. when I finished.

Challenging Week Ahead

I am on track. I really am. Finally I feel strong, I found my willpower, I have increased my activity. I am enjoying the food I am eating. Yay....

This week however is a tough one- tonight I went to ladies night, Wednesday I have a wine/food pairing event and Saturday I have friend coming in from out of town for a bachelorette party.

I feel like I can get through this but need some pointers. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know:)

Key word of the day- Willpower. Today, despite hunger pains and sweet temptations I have had success! I used this thing called "willpower". Have you heard of it before?

I thought that this willpower thing was a myth, something that skinny people made up to make fatty's feel inferior. It's real however and I tapped into this special power.

Now, truth be told, I didn't like the way I felt about it as it was happening. The café at work purposefully made some yummy desserts to torture me. They were calling my name and this willpower thing crept up on me and said no. Don't stand between me and a lemon whoopie pie! Willpower said "you will thank me later".... It was right...it is later and I am so happy with myself.

    I can sooooo relate! I have given up soda - of any kind - diet - it doesn't matter. Gone. Today dh - who never drinks soda - brings one and asks me if I wanted some. I did - but somehow looked at it and said "nope - not touching that."

Some days are just awesome - aren't they?

How do you turn a perfectly good, well-planned day into a flop-- come home from work and in one swoop eat ice cream, candy, and rice cakes with butter. Oops:(

Good Day's are Adding Up

Visualization - picturing myself thin, picturing myself making a better food decisions, planning my food out for the day, making sure I have food in the fridge that tastes good and is healthy... these things are helping the "good days" add up.

Good amount of protien, right number of calories, good amount of fiber, vitamins and 60 minutes of exercise...this is a good day for me, now I have had two of them:)
