And on the side we'll be having carrots and brocolli! Mmmmm!!

OMG! I would LOVE a kindle!!! But at the moment it's not in my budget (and it wont be for a while!) I'm instead going to go old skool and get them from my library! (An excellent resource which I have just come back to appreciating!)

Wow! That is a huge list of books! You should consider getting a kindle. Some of the older books are very cheap on there and the really old classics (pre-1923) are free.

Good luck to you!

BLAH part II

Sunday, October 10, 2010

OK so I'm still feeling a little blah but I've definately moved on a bit! Thanks to Annie and Mackenzie I got a little dose of sympathy and kick up the bum in good measures. The messages came through on my mobile phone and they just brightened up my day and gave me that little bit of motivation that I needed.

On Friday night I put this bit of motivation into action!
Do you remember my goal book that I created over the summer? Hmmm, well clearly neither did I -it was empty!
Here's a pic if you couldn't remember either:

So I looked at the little post-it notes that i had left myself:
Goal 1: Health & Fitness - races, plank, pushups
Goal 2: Life -hobbies, new skills, languages, holidays
Goal 3: Professional -publish work, pyschologist doctorate chartered psych.
Goal 4: Monetary - magazine subscriptions, festival funds, holiday, mortgage

And I worked into the night (I didnt get to bed until after 3am!) padding out those goals and setting mini deadlines for myself.
I set my MORTGAGE MANIFESTO to be mortgage free at 33 (6 years time) and all the steps that I need to take to get me there for this year.
I specified all the steps that I need to take to get me towards being a qualified psychologist for this year (including applying for a job that will bring in 20 an hour!)
I researched into all the courses available to me in my area (there are loads!) I particularly liked the sound of upholstery (although it's quite an expensive course) and also Japanese (a language Ive always wanted to learn!) but I also re affirmed my feelings toward my creative writing class and decided that I will continue with this a little longer!

So I've set myself goals and targets for all areas in my life EXCEPT health, I'm hoping that this will naturally develop into its own master plan over the next couple of weeks! So look out for a part three where I will let you all in on it!

Blimey those are Big Plans from someone who is feeling blah! Well done!
I love your Goal Book

I can see the logic of taking a more relaxed approach to Sparking. The whole diet and exercise thing only works for me when I WANT to do it rather than feel that I HAVE to do it.

I guess that your Big Plans presume that you will be fit and healthy to enjoy the goals....

Take care of yourself. You're so very worth it.

I feel so blah today.
I have no motivation and just cannot be bothered to do ANYTHING!

I have loads to do but cant be bothered doing it, I just wait until the very last minute and then scrape something together -probably why my weigh ins are completely rubbish lately!

I'm hoping to get outta this funk soon and putting a brilliant plan into action!

.... but until then I'm just gonna sit here waiting for it to happen ...

(short blog because, well, yep-I cant be bothered!!!!)

Thanks ladies! I've taken both of your advice! (I know that's a bit contradictory!) but I've stepped back from SPARK this weekend and from "it all" I've tried to pretend that it's not dark outside all the time (when in fact it is! -for some reason the east coast have been getting poor weather -not quite raining but VERY grey!)
I've sat down and worked out "The plan" for other areas of my life and I'm hoping that the release of pressure from these areas will allow me to fall effortlessly back into my healthy lifestyle!

I'm just gonna blog it!!! lol!!!

Thanks again girls, I read your comments fom my mobile phone whilst I was out and they both really inspired me!

Maybe you think it's hibernation time? Dark mornings and colder days.....

Come on girl. You want to look your best for the Christmas parties - and to make room for some indulgences. Re-start now and you'll feel great over the festivities!

You know you feel good when you're active so I hope you can find your mojo again.
