again... I did this once. Right from here... weight and energy levels... reached my goals in both and let it go. So I know it can be done, has been and will be.... the diff this time around is that I have all the knowledge and experience gained from you all and spark to help!

or moronic... not iconic that's for sure. I received a consistency trophy today from Sparks. Now, the funny part is, the only consistent thing about me and sparks lately is my avoidance for tracking, logging etc etc.... so maybe that's why they gave it to me?

Maybe it's for spinning the wheel everyday or logging in everyday.

They are encouraging you for taking the first step. Being active on the boards and allowing the reminder that you should be working out is just as important as logging. Now, if you'd LOG then we'd know how very much we're whipping your butt in SA minutes!!!! LOL

That is NOT a good !!! It is an I weighed 124 last year at this point. Then I slipped a little.. then more. Played and fiddled here. Nothing serious. Gained a pound, lost, gained, lost... I knew I wasn't doing good, only exercising once in awhile.
So i dug out scale for my sweetie to use, he lost weight in Europe with all the walking and wants to keep it up. I stepped on it.
Would add more to this blog, but am off to exercise. Someone kick my butt if they see me slacking again.
Please. I realize it is true, it is harder to keep it off them to lose it the first time. Once I hit my goal, 125, I had nothing to shoot for. Better rethink that.

I am right there with you. I have gained about 10 pounds since this time last year - and now I need to take this seriously and get back on track before it adds up even more! Let's do this!!

between sanity and crazy woman..... someone stop me please. I started tossing and sorting and next thing you know I have emptied out a ton of crap... none of which is my fault it is here... don't peek, just take my word for it! The trash guys are going to be pissed on Monday! Though it is all easily picked up and carryable... is that a word? (yes I donated alot too)
What happened? I was just looking for something and next thing bam...

and no, I did not find the book I was looking for.

I simply want to know who brought all this is my house and why did they leave it?

and where is that darn book!

My problem is that I'm afraid that I will throw the thing I am looking for out with the trash. Therefore I have a lot of crap in my house.

Hello! The Kevin Costner quote is from some blogger named Bobby something, from about 8 years ago. Not exactly a literary source but it's a pretty good line anyway!

a rant... so don't look if you don't want too....

uuughhhh.... am I the only one sick of hearing people whine and moan? Wahhh wahhh wahhh... woah is me, I am the only person in the world with problems, the only person to have to work, the only person who gets picked on, used by a boss etc etc etc....
No one else can possibly have so many problems, such a whacked family, such a crappy job.
I should get stuff for free, cause I have it so tough. Everyone should feel sorry for me.
To borrow a page from the Eagles, GET OVER IT!
We all have crap in our lives, deal with it. I am not listening to you whine and not get off your butt to change it. i am not a magic worker, I am a friend. I am sorry life gets tough, think mine isn't either? I just don't dump on people about things I know they cannot change for me. If I don't like something, I will change what I can and deal with the rest.
I am where I am by decisions I made, or let be made for me.

Well, so much for being more tolerant and patient this season. I think I blew it already.

Dear Santa, ya might as well skip this house this year.

I agree, it is nice they want to come to me. But at the time I was being surrounded by whiny people who didn't to want to admit that where they are in life was their own fault, and the only way to get out and get better was to quit the bellyaching and change some things.
Instead they chose to sit and blame everyone else for their issues and want to be given what they felt was their due.
Had had it......

i agree with what everyone is saying, but mostly what holygrl721 said. i was never really one to whine or tell people what i felt and by the time i did get it off my chest its to late cuz i usually got into trouble when i did. i'm still that way but i just don't get into trouble anymore i just open up and cry on holy's shoulder. i know i would feel better if i told her what was bothering me right away but it is very hard for me to open up my heart to let her know what i am feeling. and boy am i glad she's always there for me cuz if she wasn't i wouldn't have anyone to help me through my bad times.

Hope I don't get flamed for leaving two sides to this but here goes
I understand it can get frustrating emoticonto keep hearing people complain and not seem to do anything about it. I don't know what or who you were talking about so this is not intended for anyone specific. this is life and there's always gonna be a whiner out there who takes whining to a new level and you just want to duck tape their mouth shut I mean, It can make you depressed yourself to hear about that stuff over and over.....
but here comes the but
Isn't that what being a friends about???? emoticonbeing able to vent to your friends. sometimes there's nothing you can do about a situation your in but it always makes me feel better when I can go to a friend for a shoulder to cry on so to speak.
sometimes its not a matter of can you fix this for me as much as that person just needs someone to say "that sucks I wish I could help but I cant but I'm your friend and i'm here when you need me"
