Sometimes, I allow myself to get bogged down in daily occurances in life. Then I don't take care of myself like I should. For example, we brought my mom home from the hospital last week (after 3 1/2 weeks at the hospital). Then we had the home health nurse out a couple of times and the physical therapist came once. Hubby (OTR truck driver was here a couple of days, left, came back for another day.It really throws a wrench in my routine when he's home. I'm not sure if I'm using them as excuses or it really does throw me way off track, but I did absolutely no exercise and didn't eat as well ( let's face it, I blew it)..Good news is I 'm doing excellent on my drinking water..I also started back to the pool today and did 45 minutes water aerobics with the class, water walked for 15 min...and did 15 minutes of swimming. I'm going to try to go M-W-F to the pool to start with.

I really do wish that Sparkpeople would add a gluten free meal plan to their meal plans or even a low carb plan. I really need to eat both and would love to use their meal plans. Does anyone else eat gluten free or low carb and use their meal plans?

Working on day three of starting over. Now I have the added joy of trying to get my Blood Pressure down..You'd think that if you are trying to eat healthy, that sodium wouldn't be an issue, but noooo..It's in EVERYTHING practically. I also need to get my cholesterol down. They called in a prescription to get my cholesterol down too, but I'm hoping that getting my blood pressure and weight loss under control, it will take care of the cholesterol too, without the meds. I am however trying to remember to take the blood pressure medicine...I do forget though on good days.

Today there were supposed to be some heavy storms with lots of high wind, rain and hail..I heard reports of some in our area, but I only saw the heavy rains for a while and thunder &lightning. I worked at my job today and didnt get to go to the Wellness Center for my water workout (lightning).
Yesterday I did alot of overdue housework..Mostly my floors, sweeping, mopping vacuum-ing (sp?)..Anyway I also really cleaned my kitchen, including my fridge, only thing I miss was 1 drawer and the inside of my lower cabinets. Decluttered some in the rest of the house, but not enough..There is one room that is my junk room, need to clean that one. Gonna start working on that one 15 min at a time.
Now I think I will go have a glass of wine (after dishes) and do some reading.

It seems for whatever reasons,..I cannot seem to get motivated, everything from being too busy, to hurting so much, I just don't feel like it, but I need to make changes and get motivated......somehow..
Today I woke up feeling just exhausted and was really hurting in my neck, shoulders and upper back, right around my spine. Really didn't feel like doing anything, but wound going looking for some mythical property...2 acres to be exact that was supposed to be for sale. Maybe it will turn up..
Later in the evening I went to the health food store and bought some more teas, (bought some last night at Kroger) so now I have 3 of the Yogi teas, and a few others. I had Ginger Tea when I got back and boy does that taste take some getting used to.
I also went to Freds and bought some more potting soil and some more shepherds hooks..I have several now, for some of my hanging herb baskets that I put together. I now have lavender, rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, parsley, lamb's ear, lemon balm, lemon verbena, chives (both garlic and onions), two different kinds of sage, 2 different kinds of peppermint, fennel, dill, and yarrow.
I also went to the Goodwill bookstore and bought some more books... a couple on how to have a healing home and to make your home a sanctuary..and a few books by Laura Childs and Susan Wittig Albert.
For breakfast I had bagels and lox at the Temple, and for lunch I had a plate of Taco Salad at my Mom's and for dinner I had to Organic Beef Hotdogs on Eco Sandwich bread, with a baked potato and a big oatmeal raisin cookie from the health food store with milk.
Gonna have a glass of red wine and read my books..:-)
I took an OTC Prilosec starting today, because of somde digestive troubles and I also took a probiotic with breakfast and one with dinner.
I really hope I get a good night's sleep tonight, cause I haven't had one all week for one reason or another.
