after being in a funk last weekend not doing any workouts or running because of the passing of my BIL... I made it to my workout yesterday..... felt good but man after a week of not working out it harder than expected.... but i did it..... i also went to dr... all my nutrient levels are good... so I am doing awesome..... I hope to get 2 10 mile runs in thursday and friday I have my half marathon in 2 weeks and I am not ready.....

    Sorry for your loss. Time off makes it harder but your body will bounce back to it's old form faster this time. Don't worry, you'll be ready in 2-weeks time with some steady activity!

New Running Partner

New running partner... well not quite yet have to teach him to walk with me first... but this winter we should be running together... His name is Bear and he is a 4 month old lab mix... mixed with we are not sure but "small breed" so hoping for a "Mini" lab.....

well my trainer took measurements yesterday.... I was pleasantly surprised... I actually gained 3.6 pounds since January... but I lost .25 inch off arm, .75 off waist, and body fat went from 32% to 29% with muscle going from 96.6 pounds to 103.41 and fat going from 45.6 to 42.3 so I gained 7 pounds of muscle and lost 3 pounds of fat....

finally getting over sick

well last week I had bronchitis and ear infection...missed a workout with my trainer because of it.... really sucked.... so Tuesday I thought I was better enough to do my workout again... halfway through it I had an asthma attack ( haven't had one in years) done with workout.... so today I tried again... made it through full workout...so very happy.... next week back to my running schedule.... YEAH!!!!!
