Had a busy day - got a couple loads of laundry done this morning. Then this afternoon Greg and i went shopping. My sister had sent us a gift card for WalMart - so just had to use it. Then after putting away the groceries, we fixed spaghetti for dinner. Spaghetti, salad, and ice cream with frozen berries for dessert.

This evening have been knitting on a shawl - and looking at more sock yarn. Am just about out so time to get more!!

I got today off to a good start - met Elaine at the DoNot Shop. We have been studying the book of Romans since last October. Some times we do only a verse or 2 and sometimes we just visit and share what is going on in our lives. But, we are hoping to finish this awesome letter by Round-Up which is the 2nd week in September. And we just might!! Then we have not decided what our next study will be.

Have vacuumed the living room - took my fern outside - it is shedding just too many leaves for the corner where i have it. So am thinking about what to do with it. May just discard.

Water: emoticon Now to get the other 2 glasses drank today. Now am going to knit a bit more and watched the 2nd Indiana Jones movie - well, will at least start it.

Went to knitting group this evening - had a great time. There were 22 of us there - the largest group we have had since i started. Lots of visiting and knitting. Drank another glass of water - now one more and i will have my 4 glasses for the day. emoticon

Wed. Morning:
Had my 4th glass of water last night while i knit and watched half of the 2nd Indiana Jones movie. So got my 4 glasses down!! YEAH. emoticon

Well, today has been a "lost cause" with my water intake. Only 2 so far and I am about ready to "hit the sack". I got up about 6 this morning - had not planned to get up so early, but just woke up and could not get back to sleep.

Did some cleaning in the coat closet this morning - seems like it is such a "catch-all". Then about 1 a friend called to see if I was going to join the knitting group at the Buckin' Bean. So, of course, off I went. Just can't pass up a chance to just sit and knit. And they are such a great bunch of gals. Finally got home about 3:30. My boys were playing computer games - so I baked some chocolate chip cookies. Have a friend that I have promised some to, so put aside about half for him. Now to get them mailed to him. He lives in Medford and I keep him supplied.

Geoff went off to bed and Greg and I fixed us each a baked potato, with egg, some bacon, and cheese. They were so yummy!! We watched the 2nd half of Oz, the Great and Powerful while we enjoyed our potatoes.
Very good movie - well worth the watch!!

Now I am ready to call it a day and head for bed. But, will drink one more glass of water before I turn in.

    You're doing great Barb, I was down on my water yesterday too but it was a bitty sort of day with a WI committee meeting that seemed to go on forever and then rushing to get tea ready. I'll make up for it today though.
Glad you had a fun evening with Greg, the potatoes sound yummy! emoticon

Church was good this morning - there was a presentation by the Gideons. They do such an awesome work. We have 2 members in our church that are Gideons. Then our Sunday School class where we are going thru the book of Genesis.

Lunch today was Teriyaki chicken, mashed potatoes, and salad. Now am getting ready to watch more of Raiders of the Lost Ark - have not watched in a very long time.

My challenge for this week is to drink 4 glasses of water each day. So far, 2 down and 2 more to go.
And have taken my vitamins and calcium. That was last week's challenge- don't want to miss that one just because it is a new week.

I have joined a number of challenges - and have truly wanted to complete, but somehow I either forget about them or just seem to lose interest. Have been thinking about a better way to actually complete. So have decided to just write each one out and put on my blog page.

This week is mostly over, but have been taking my vitamins and calcium every day. And actually have taken them instead of just carrying them around in my pocket all day. My son told me they do not work by osmosis. And I had thought they just might.

Now for my challenge for next week. I really have a hard time drinking enough water. I am a coffee drinker, but have really cut back - 3 cups the most each day. However, have not increased my water intake. So that is my challenge for next week, June 23 - 29. And will just chart here each day, after i have finished. I do put on the nutrition page, but i think I need something more visible.

I know I can do this - have before - just need to decide that is what I am gong to do!!

    That sounds like a good plan I know I need to drink more water each day too I don't think I've been the usual 8 cups per day. I'll have to keep track too !! emoticon
