Oh, my, how stress can take its tole!! Greg, my oldest son, is not coming over for "dinner and a movie" for a while. He and Geoff are so different - almost opposite religious beliefs and political views. So Greg and I will just be meeting later this evening for a "Night out!".
Yesterday I took my pickup in for some repairs - walked back home and then later walked down to pick it up. Also, walked in the neighborhood. Got in lots of steps and was able to "shed" some of that stress. But, can certainly feel it again this morning.
And, this morning on SparkCoach, Dietician Becky Hand shared ways to handle stress. Some things I do, but i do know that exercise is such a good way to release some of it. Something else i do is knitting while watching a favorite movie or tv show. And, with my knitting have finished 3 pairs of socks which will be Christmas presents.
Oh, I do so appreciate the SparkCoach program. I feel like I am gaining so much from it. I especially feel so challenged by the videos. Thank you so much, Spark People!!
