Don't Want To This Morning

I don't want to "walk" this morning! I want to pout!! Then I read a previous blog - Don't lose heart - don't grow weary. OK ----- I get it - so put that DVD in and just walk - you will feel so much better and the day will be so much brighter.

Have read a couple of blogs this morning from gals who have stuck with it and have lost weight - am sure there were days when they did not want to - whatever was on their schedule for the day - but they did it anyway - and in the end, they have their reward of goals reached and better health and a better life.

So, stop procrastinating and get off the computer and on your feet!!!
All right, all ready - I'm going!!!


AFTERNOON:
Well, did not walk after all - I remembered that I am having my 9 yr. old granddaughter with me at work today - and needed to stop at WalMart and pick up a couple new coloring books for her. She LOVES to color. I also brought Fraggle Rock DVD for her to watch.

Don't Lose Heart

One of the Scriptures in my devotions this morning reads:
"Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
Galatians 6:9
And, this certainly is an encouragement.
Just don't lose heart - don't grow weary.
Just continue daily and in time we will reap that reward of lost inches, lost pounds, and
healthier lives.

So, DON'T LOSE HEART!!

Walking this Evenng

I was so tired this evening - worked Sat morning - Church this morning -
then just ate, sat and watched the Super Bowl and did some knitting.
Not good!! So, about 8:30, I put in my "Walk the Walk" DVD with Leslie Sansone
and walked a mile.
Now will have a good night sleep!! YEAH!!

I wrote this blog Sun evening - I forget to check the date when I enter things later in the evening - way out here on the West Coast! We are just a little late catching up with the rest of you!

  


No Weight Loss - Yet!!

Have not lost any weight yet - but am feeling so much better. I am more limber and have lots more energy. Next I am going to do some measurements and chart them.

Mostly, I am just making small changes in my eating habits: drinking less coffee and more water, eating more fruit - one staple i have always included every day is salad. Have also been exercising every day - even if it is only 10 minutes. I am concentrating on consistency at this point - and know that it will eventually pay off!!!

Also, i log in here every day - and read blogs from the great people here! And, am so encouraged. I don't have anyone in my family or friends to be accountable to - so depend on this site for all the encouragement and input I need. - And, have not been disappointed!

    The scale is so over rated. Measurements are good but how you feel is most important. I'm glad you are already seeing the positives in your energy and physical fitness

Bye-Bye Old Books

Can't believe how much I have gotten done today! Have about 10 books to take to the used book store and about 10 to discard. Also, emptied 8 notebooks and the contents are going bye-bye. Now have room for the stack of books on the dining room table.
Well, back to work - just took a break to eat some salad and a couple of taquitos.
So yummy with wasabi.
