It took me almost an hour to enter fitness min for the last 3 days. For some reason everything was working very slowly. I have "Fios" internet connecttion with the Pro plan, so I think it was this site rather than ATT. Some things were working really fast, likely the spin wheel. But getting the pages to enter mins, miles, ect. was taking bwt 3-5 mins. to get the page up. Every time I would enter something, once again I had to wait and wait and wait. I am not going to even try to enter food at this point. It took close to 2 1/2 mins. to get the blog page to come up.
I am going to try to upload a picture I took last week of the canisters I got at a garage sale a while back. Some who read my blogs may remember me talking about them. I got 3 of the canisters and the blue vase was an extra bonus.
This is a picture that a neighbor gave me after I saw it at her garage sale. I was going to go back and buy it but never got around to it. She gave it to me one day about a week later for free. I love it.
Jeff had a great birthday but had to work unitl 7pm. He also worked until 7pm last night and he is not home from work at 9:37pm. I had cook a nice pork loin with potatoes and carrots. He can have leftovers for his lunch tomorrow.
Ok that is about it. I sure hope Sparks works better for me tomorrow.
Bowled on Sunday and had a nice surprise. One of my old dear friends showed up at the bowling alley to watch me practice. Mary was one of my bridemaids and we don't see each very often anymore but do keep in touch.
I also hung around Carter Bowl until about 12:30pm to watch the tournament. My friends team made it past the first round with total high pin count for 3 games of 1469. Unfortunately the one fellow didn't bowled about 30 pins under his avg. and so they missed getting into the next round by 3 pins. They each got $100. Came out to the car to go home and it was over 90 degrees. So hot so I never took Phred for a walk.
Went to the gym today and use the reg. bike rather than the recum. I did cardio program the other day on recum. and did random level 4 on reg. bike today. Less miles and calories by just a bit. While riding on the bike I did isometric arms curls, hammer curls and over the head lifts several times about 20 reps. each time. Some of the people I could tell were looking at me a bit strangely but what the heck, might as well get some upper body work while sitting on your butt for 40 mins. Very warm again today just over 80 but cloudy until almost noon, humid, not too comfortable. Not normal for this area.
Bowling tomorrow along with the market. Jeff's birthday is tomorrow so I will pick up some nice steaks and he loves Germain Chocolate cake so I will try to find a small one at our local Stater Brothers market. They normally have that type of cake every day while some of the other markets do not.
Anyone been watching "GH". I was very surprised that they killed off Hope and Cole. Starr Manning charater from OLTL is now on the show and that was her daughter and Hope's father. Will be some sparks bwt Sonny and Todd from what I have seen in the previews. Will they kill each other. I don't think Sonny shot out the tires that caused the accident that killed Starr's family. I am thinking Kate/Connie because that woman is going nuts. They seem to be pulling the dual personality thing(stolen from OLTL Vickie).
Took Phred for 2 walks on Friday. Seems like I was busy but damm if I can remember exactly what I did. lol
Did a lot of housework today and took Phred for 1 walk. Talked to my sister Doreen this morning on the phone and then my daughter Samra this afternoon. Watched some tv to catch up on shows I had DVR'd. Jeff got home b/4 5pm and we went to dinner at Dennys'. I ate lightly most of today, so I had scramble egg whites with 2 pcs. turkey bacon, along with 2 pancakes (a new type) with either candied or roasted nuts in them. I shouldn't have eaten it all but I did. It was good and supposedly under 650 Cals. along with a small milk, which of course is larger than 8 ozs. I figured I went over my calories today but this is so new that they didn't have a calorie count online.
Our weather has warmed up again, today it was 86 degrees and looking at closer to 90 degree tomorrow. Will do some bowling at 9am and then cheer on my buddy's who are in a tournament at the alley at 10am.
Haven't been to the gym since I sprained my ankle on the 1st of Nov. I need to renew my membeship on the 7th. I belong to "Planet Fitness" and I purchased the $20 plan so my friends and family could go with me, if they wanted too. Well my friend only went a few times and my son the same. I am going to go down to the $10 monthly plan w/o the contract. This saves me $120 a year.
Last time I saw my Rhuemy he wanted me to get into the gym to use th bikes. He thinks they will be better for my ankle. Guess what, not. My ankle was still swollen up afterwards and painful using the recum. But I will go back because I feel so bad for not going the last 3+ months. I will try a reg. stationary bike to see if that works better for my ankle. I did 40 mins and over 14 miles.
Yesterday was under my calories count by about 40 cal. today was over by 3 cal. lol Anyway also took Phred for a nice walk. It was sunny but cool with a cool breeze. I was able to just be in jeans and a t-shirt. Suppose to warm up a bit for a couple of days, and then maybe rain again.
So I bowled yesterday and knew I wouldn't bowl that great.My avg. on the team is now 120, slowing working my way up. I bowled 121, 123, 120. At least I was consistant. lol I also bowled today, had some good games and some bad games. I keep getting so many 9's and then just missing the last pin standing. lol I just decided to work on getting spares, to see how bad I can mess up the pins. Not aiming and still getting 9's or 8's. lol
Yesterday I was pretty tired after bowling so I was glad I took Phred out in the morning b/4 I went. I did the same this morning.
Jeff worked on my Corvette today and got everything fixed on it. I had to use my son's car the last 2 days.
I went to the ATM on the way home and then stopped off at Vons (Safeway in some other areas) market to get some meat and dinner. We had salad, garlic bread and lasagna for dinner. I used the store brand of lasagna which to me was better than Stouffer's brand. I used the Safeway Select 5 Cheese. I was even under my calorie count today by just a few points.
