Hurrah! for me I made it to the gym today. I walked over and walked back. It was only 64 degrees today and very windy on the way home, but the sun kept peaking out from between the clouds. Suppose to start to warm tomorrow, hit the mid 80's this weekend and then cool off, yet again.
I did good workouts on the treadmill and elliptical trainers today for 80 mins between them both. I also did a total of 7.29 miles at the gym, so including the walk home, doing some stuff around the house and giving Phred a short walk, I had a total of 11.24 miles today with 20,496 steps from 9am to 4:30pm. Not too shabby.
I have an appointment with my Rhuematologist tomorrow morning, plus I am sure he will order a ton of blood work. I haven't had any done since the ER did some in Jan., 2011 and the doc had some done in the beginning of Dec., 2010. I think the only reason he is going to be upset with me is I have not had a pro-time since the ER. I take blood thinners because of a Lupus blood clotting factor and should have this test done about every 2 weeks or so. Just have to wait to see how much I need to change what I have been taking.
Frank and I had artichokes for dinner along with left over couscous, he had an Kings Hawaiian roll with his, along with milk for both of us. I was too low on calories so I also had greek yogurt for desert (blueberry). Drank plenty of water today and I hope all my Sparks friends did the same. Hugs,Teri

Got up and read the paper, ate breakfast, then got to work on my topiary's. With our weather being so up and down, they have grown a whole bunch. Took me about 2 1/3 hours to do the trimming and clean up (raking, sweeping up). Started at 10:30am and finished at 1pm. I am still not none because I need to use the smaller power trimmer to do the details work on them. It was pretty warm today and I was sweating up a storm when I was done. I came in the house ate lunch, watch OLTO and GH and then talked to my daughter for a while near the end of GH. I then took Phred for a nice long walk. I order pizza for Frank and I, had 2 slices and did go over my calorie count by a couple 100 calories but I figured I have going over my exercise min. for days, so no biggie.
Off to watch "TBL". Everyone have a nice evening and tomorrow.

I woke up an hour b/4 the alarm is suppose to go off this morning. I decided to go ahead and go to the bathroom, plus take my morning meds. I tried to go back to sleep for close to 50 min. and my head started to hurt so I got up.
Read about half the morning paper and then started on the house cleaning, dusting everything top to bottom, vacuuming including the couches and moving the furniture to get behind everything, did both bathrooms and also mopped. Took about 3 hrs. but since my DH called in the middle of vacuuming I took a few min. to talk to him so the total was 2h45m.
He said he had the day off and was going to visit one of the museums in Chicago. Well, he ended staying in the room/condo all day just kicking back. He finally had a day off to see the sites and he stayed at the condo, men, go figure. I would have been out trying to see something. Speaking of the devil guess who just called, I guess his ears were burning. LOL
Had a lot of energy today so I took Phred for a long walk too. Look forward to going to the gym tomorrow.

I woke up at 7:15am and took my morning medications and went back to bed. I felt real lazy and had almost no energy. Like I didn't even sleep, so went back to bed and woke up after 9am. Still didn't have much energy and with Lupus I decided to take it easy. I did take Phred for a nice walk and did some marketing where I picked up dinner. We had salmon, couscous, salad with King's Hawaiian rolls (1) and a glass of milk. Went over my calorie count today by 3 calories LOL I am not too worried since I have gone over my exercise min. for the week by a lot. Ta Ta for now. I am watching tv and relaxing tonight.

Got up this morning and read most of the paper, then did 2 LS's walking dvd's.
The first one is 3 miles using the walk belt and the 2nd on was her boot-camp dvd using the figure 8 resistance bands. Took a shower, ate lunch, watch OLTL & GH. Took Phred for a nice walk in the cold wind, with the sun coming out occasionally. Came home a did some stuff around the house, got on SP to put in data. Took my son and I out to dinner at Polly's where I had the salmon cake sandwich on whole wheat (no sauce) with tomatoes, cucumbers, onion and spinach with Kona Chips on the side (a type of fat free potato chips that are made fresh at Polly's everyday). I only ate a few of the KC, while Frank finished them off. We also got to have free slice of Blueberry Crisp pie. I had water with dinner. I kept within my calorie count and I am stuffed.
I plan on hitting the gym tomorrow morning. I need to practice my jogging/running to see if I can break the 2 miles without stopping. I need to do this every other day and soon everyday so I will be ready for the 5K in June.
