Well, yesterday was not one of my better days for following my diet goals. Woke up and had a headache that just wouldn't let go of me, wasn't a migraine but very painful. I refused to use my migraine meds. unless it is a full blown migraine. Unfortunately, it laid me up most of the day in the dark in my bedroom. I did take Phred for a morning walk for 40 mins. and 2.17 miles, thinking the fresh air might help, that was a big mistake.
The problem I have when I get these headaches is that I get nauseated but hungry for stuff I shouldn't be eating, like sweets and salts. Gave in pretty bad and my calories for yesterday were 3,459, yep you read correctly. I did my weekly weigh in yesterday morning and was 156 pounds, and you would think that would make me happy and stop me from eating all the junk but it didn't.
Feel somewhat better today and the headache seems to be gone. Took Phred out for another 40 min. walk this morning and I may do an exercise dvd later. Just depends on how I feel in a couple of house. Pretty tired still even with all the rest yesterday and slept 9 hours straight.
I think I was having a problem with my fibromyalgia too because my feet and hands were burning and my lower back was hurting too. My toes kept cramping up so may just take it easy today but stay on the lower side of my calorie intake.

I have two alarm clocks. One to wake me about an hour b/4 I really need to get up. I have medication I have to take an hour b/4 I can eat. So I set the first clock and when it goes off, open the blinds about 1/4 of the way up, so the morning light starts to come in the bedroom and take my morning medications. Go to the bathroom and then hit the bed again. But I woke up an looked at the clock and it hadn't gone off yet, so went back to sleep. Only problem was it stopped working at 7:56am and I didn't realize it. Oh well got up at 9am.
I had some errands to do today and by the time I ate breakfast it was pretty warm outside so I got in the car, ran to make a deposit at my hubby's bank, then stopped at Fresh & Easy store to see what they might have on sale. There isn't one near us but down the street from his bank. Then I took a few bags of clothes over to Goodwill finally. Man it was warm today.
Hey we had a earthquake a little while a go. Felt it pretty good this time, the news says it was a 5.7, a baby one to me. Having lived my life in S.CA, I am so use to earthquakes that I don't normally even notice them. Tonight I did.
Was a bit tired today for some reason but still did 1 LS dvd "5 fast fat burning miles"and only took Phred out after dinner tonight when it had cooled off. Going to need to get up earlier to walk him b/4 the ground get too hot for his paws.

Got up a little late and read some of the newspaper. Then headed out to take Phred for a short walk this AM. Headed over to the market to use the ATM and pick up a fews things. Got some steaks for dinner but I only had salad with mine and the men folk had the left over mash potatoes from last night. Did just a 3 miles LS dvd while using the resistance band and then took Phred for his reg. evening walk. I really took it easy today.

Decided not to go kayaking today and instead head to the gym. I did a great strenght training routine for my upper arms, chest and back plus some stomach stuff. Then I did cardio on the eliptical for 55 mins. Very good workout today.
Came home had lunch, showered and took Phred for a walk, my son Frank came along too.
It had warmed up by 2pm because most of the day really sucked and it was very cold this am.
Grilled London Broil with homemade mashed potatoes with some garlic added to the water, peas and no sugar added apple sauce for me. Thanks about it for today!

Yes another Friday comes and it is time to deep clean the house for the week. Do light cleaning during the week but do a good job on most Fridays, sometimes it is Sat. or Thursday.
Got up early to do put all my medications for the week in their proper place in the pill box, Oh boy what fun. Then ate breakfast, read the paper and just felt tired and a bit lazy. So I got my butt up and took the dog for his morning walk. Frank was going to go at first until I told him my morning walks are a lot farther then the evening walk. He changed his mind but did come with us on the evening walk. When I got back home from the walk, drank some water and started into cleaning, dusting, bathrooms, vacuum and mopping. Lots of fun, not. I always put the radio on to listen to classic rock and dance around the house and sing really bad but I am tone deaf so I don't care who hears.
My son just ignores me but he did dust his own room and take out all the trash after dinner. He gave Phred a bath the other day. Because he can not find a job and can't pay rent, his dad has told him he has to do whatever I ask him to do around the house. He is a good kid so doesn't complain.
I exercised at 3pm using a LS dvd. So did pretty well on my calorie burn today 1572. Happy with that. Going to watch Supernatural at 9pm because most everything else is a repeat and we are not soccer fans.
Decided not to go kayaking tomorrow morning after all. Sandy was suppose to go with me but called this morning and had been sick all night with flu like symptoms. The weather was very very cool this morning, like a middle of winter for CA. I had to wear a light jacket for my morning walk, and it was pretty cold by this evening. I did the cold weather kayaking a couple of weeks ago and decided "No thanks for that" but would have gone if Sandy was still going to come along. Still going next Sunday. I am really going to go to the gym tomorrow morning and that is my goal for Sat. Everyone have a nice evening and weekend.
