Got up to go to the bank where my disbility payment is done with direct deposit. Love the 3rd of the month, was getting a little bit low on my funds. Paid the house bills that I pay every month Gas and ATT that includes house, 3 cells phones and DSL.
Came home and took Phred for a walk. Was still cloudy when we started but was pretty darn warm by the time we got home. Suppose to be really hot this weekend, even at the beach. Frank and I kayak on Sunday morning and they expect it to be 80 degrees. Of course the water will be the normal year round temp. of 68-69 degrees. Never warms up here on the West Coast, is a surprise for people who come to visit from the East Coast.
Did "30 Day Shred" JM and "Fast 3 miles Waistline w/walkbelt" LS and took Phred for his evening walk.
Made ribs with salad and Pork&Beans for dinner. My husbands friend Bob was over and tried one of the ribs. The mans face lit up and couldn't believe how good they were. Even asked how I cooked them. Told him I par-boiled first b/4 a short time on the BBQ.
He said his never tasted that way and he did that. I said did you add spices to the water. Got the blank man face and "No". Told him my secrect is , now don't anyone tell, but it is dried crushed red peppers and Zararain's Creole Seasoning. I also put in celery salt and garlic powder w/parsley. This really gives the meat a jolt but not too hot with the BBQ sauce on it.
