Busy day

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

Got up this morning and some stuff around the house. Then talked to Irene on the phone for about 20 mins. Went to Stater Brothers, purchase some groceries. Came home. Then over to Target but had to go to another one and they were also out of the item I wanted. Then went o Vons on the way home to get some more groceries. Got back to the house around 1:30pm ate some lunch, then did exercise tapes from 3:10pm to almost 5pm. Fed the dogs, started dinner, showered. And here I am listening to the Olympics and watching too.

Nothing too exciting today

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Went to the gym then came home. I had a headache last night and this morning so took some Tylenol Allergy and felt better. Walked the dogs. Jeff called around 3 or so to say he would be working until 9 or 10pm tonight and maybe for the next couple of days. Since he has been sick since returning from Tulare on Sunday I hope he makes it without getting worse. Talk to Cora, she is gonna try to get over here tomorrow. Got a call from my college friend Nikki, hadn't talked to her in a long time but we exchange emails often. That is all

I haven't had any soda in 10 days

Monday, February 15, 2010

I decided when my husband was gone that I would not buy any diet soda and jsut finish what I had. I have not had any soda in 10 dys and am drinking water with my lunch and sometimes at breakfast too. That was one of my fastbreak short term goals I am working on hoping to make 1 month. I will do a lite weekout this evening and get to the gym tomorrow. I had errands to run for the hubby this morning then a friend said she was going to come over bwt 1 and 2 but never showed up. I called at 4, and she got stuck taking her niece to the market. She will try for tomorrow. She wants to see Lucy Dog b/4 she passes away. She loves my dog, they had been buddies for years.

First.... congratulations on 10 days. Are you missing it? Or are you finding it was just a routine that really didn't help you much?

Second... my condolances. I know how much you and your family love your pets. Lucy has been such a good friend to you. I know I miss my Smoochie from time to time. I think about getting another dog, and realize then, that you just can't replace a life. Even dogs are each unique personalities and touch our lives in so many ways. When they leave us, there is a loss. I am so sorry for yours.

Cleaning the house today and Lucy Dog's day.

Saturday, February 13, 2010

Well got the house cleaned a day early. The hubby comes home tomorrow and it is Valentines so who wants to clean on a lovely holiday. With NASCAR on tomorrow afternoon and the Olympics I will be hitting th gym in the morning.
My sweet Lucy dog is getting worse, I think. She still wants to come on the walks but must sit more often. She threw up 3 times today, even water. I also think she may be leaking urine at times, small amounts that she may not even be aware of. Why? Because she was laying down behind my chair here at the desk and when I got up, so did she and then there was some wet spots. I had just mopped today so I cleaned it up and it was yellow colored. She was embarrased. Right after that she threw up her dinner and I had to clean up that too.
She went into the hallway to lie down and hide. Poor dear.

What woman could ask for anything more this weekend?!!

Saturday, February 13, 2010

I know this may sound strange to some ladies out there but this has to be my perfect weekend. Today is the start of the winter Olympics (I always watch them from beginning to end), it is also the start of NASCAR season. First race is on Sunday from Daytona, woo hoo!!
Sunday is Valentines Day and my husband comes home from working up in Tulare, CA after 2 weeks.
Also this weekend the rain has taken a break and the weather man calls for sunny skies in the mid to upper 70's. The most beautiful view from the back patio as you look east toward the San Bernardino Mts. Snow is everywhere and you can drive there in under 2 hrs to ski or play and be back in the afternoon for Daytona. Where else could you do that at?
