Not much of anything today

I had a good time last night with some friends. I elected to have a German dark ale beer. It was happy hour and the large 24 oz tall glass was the same price as the 12 oz, so I had the larger one. Should not have done that. I don't drink very much because of medication and sometimes even with just one drink I will suffer the next day with no energy and a headache.
So I just went to the market for 65 mins to do a lot of shopping I had been putting off since the husband has been out of town working. He is due back on Sunday morning b/4 noon.
Cleaned the bathrooms and walked the dogs.

It started raining early, wasn't suppose to happen until later in the day. I was suppose to walk with Irene today but her knee is giving her bad problems. I think our walk on Sunday was too much for her knee.
Irene has been trying to find a good receipy for "Bananas Foster". I found 2 in some old cookbooks that had been my mothers in law, my husband purchased them for her when he was arond11 yrs old. He got them at Disneyland in New Orleans square so I figured they might been one or both of them. I was correct. I also got my new CookingClub mag and it had a version made like an upside down cake. She plans to make it on Thurs. I hope she likes it.
Won't be on here tomorrow night cause I am going out with some lady friends for a bite and I am gonna have a German beer. Ha

Not much happen today

Just a regular day, went to the gym, took Phred the Wonder Dog to get groomed. Came home ate lunch, picked up Phred. Took the dog for a walk after getting back with the Phred-ster.
Made breakfast for dinner.

Another Sunday

Since I don't watch the superbowl unless the husband is home and wants to watch it. I didn't have to this year. Hurray for me!!
Took a little over 5 1/2 walk with Irene today. We just walked local on the surface streets of
the area. Got back at 5pm and was starting to get pretty cool. The rain stopped yesterday moring but is expected back on Wednesday morning again. Going to take Phred the Wonder Dog to get his hair cut tomorrow morning on my way to the gym. Frank bathed Lucy today, poor old thing really didn't want one but she was getting pretty stinky. I don't know if the diabetes causes the order or not. She has made it pass her 1 month mark that the Vet gave her and she is still going on the short walks. But she stops and sits down more often so don't really know how much longer she has. She has lost weight and her ribs are starting to show some. She was always an overweight dog so I notice more than other would that she has lost weight. Thats about it.

Well it's so sad to be watching her waste down. As long as she's not in pain, there's not much else you can do. I'm sure she appreciates being clean, and the care, even if she didn't like it at the time. I am sure just like us she is more comfortable being clean. Report Inappropriate Comment

Cold and rainy this morning

Didn't get to take my walk along the river today. It was raining when Irene called at 7:20am so we decided not to do it. Talk to Irene on the phone for about 35 mins. Later in the morning the rain had stopped so I took a walk up St.College (started at 10:48am). It hasn't really started to rain again today. If we had waited a few hours we could have taken the river walk. Irene went ahead and made other plans which was ok, how were we to know it wouldn't rain until late tonight. Not what the weather men predicted.
My son and I went to IHOP for dinner. I chose to have one of their new menu items which gives the calories but nothing else. When I went to look for (fats and other things) online this was one of the items not yet listed. Sort of wish I had picked somthing else but how was I to know this was so new.
