If wishes Came True

If wishes came true:

This year I wish and really want to keep track of what I eat on a daily basis again. I have let this stop and has made a big difference in eating items I shouldn't. My plan is to week 1 write all items on a sheet of paper, week 2 write items on a sheet of paper and figure out calorie counts, week three start entering food items into spark nutrition again.

This year I wish and really want to bike, walk, step or any other exercise at least 100 miles a month. My plan is for week 1 Monday, Wednesday and Thursday get at least 2 miles; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday get at least 4 miles these days. Week 2 M, W and F get at least 3 miles; T, TH and Sat. 5 miles a week. Week 3/4 M,W, and F get at least 3 miles; T, TH and S 7

This year I wish and really want to lose at least 1 pound a week. My plan to get this accomplished is based on the things above. By keeping track of what goes in my mouth and getting more exercise this should get the weight coming off. My goal is only 1 pound a week but would love more.

    Katherine, you will do it girl!! I know you will!! You have your goals laid out and that is what you need. I have always found that tracking was my hardest thing, but anytime I did it, I always felt much better about things. Hang in there girl!! You will do it!! Keep us posted on how you are doing!!!!

Dear Santa,

This year I wish and really want to keep track of what I eat daily, even if it is just writing it down for now. I wish and really want to bike, walk, step at least 100 miles a month. I wish and really want to lose at least 1 pound a week.

Spring is almost here. YEAH!!!

I can't wait to get camping again. We are going to start geocaching. That should be a great adventure for the kids and us. A real treasure hunt.

Maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself. Here in Wyoming spring doesn't really come till Memorial Day but that's just right around the corner, right? We've had spring time weather and have started some spring cleaning. Why is it every time I clean the window the dog goes up there and puts his nose on it? He must know that irrates me.

I've been very busy lately and haven't been able to spend as much time on Spark. But logging in everyday does really help stay on track. Nascar is in full swing and that group is always a lot of fun.

I hope everyone has a great spring and achieve all those goals that were set on January 1st.

    Dogs and kids -- they are so attracted to clean glass! How funny! My littlest seems drawn to the patio doors whenever I clean them -- BOOM, there are handprints again!!! I am also very ready for Spring!!! Hurry up!!!

Nothing New

OK there is one thing. Nascar is back on. YEAH!!! Tony is 3rd in points whoo hooo. I'm sure all those Gordon fans a jealous. LOL

About the nutrition: I am have a terrible time not eating sweets. I need someone to slap my hand everytime I reach for a candy bar. I know if I could stay away from sugar for a week I would be back on track. Don't know why I am having this craving all of a sudden.

Exercise: Doing pretty well and that is the one thing that helps me not gain. I ride my bike at least once a week, do pilates at least 4 times a week and walk/jog at least 4 times a week. Last week we had such nice weather it was fun to be able to be outside. Maybe I need to shake it up a bit and do some different exercises.

Loggin in here everyday I know helps me tons to stay on track as best as I am. If I didnt' have spark I wouldn't be accountable to anyone. I CAN DO IT.

Middle of February

We have hardly had any snow. How sad, I love going outside and shoveling that snow. It's great for cardio and arms. Come on Mr. snow man bring us some snow. :)

All in all it has been a very busy February. I have been exercising at least 5 days a week. Doing my pilates 2 days if not 3 each week, along with walking. Yesterday was very pleasant out so took Nemo for a run at the school. It was good for both of us.

Don't really have any new goals. What I really need to do is start posting my nutrition again. I know that would really help out a lot. I haven't gained but losing hasn't happened either. So maybe that will be my March goal.

Just finished helping my 4YO with his valentine cards for their party tomorrow. He was having such a good time with the glitter glue. Need to get up now and start working out.

    Tracking my food has been essential to my success (of course exercise too). I know it can be tedious but it is important (I used to think exercise was enough and I still gained weight). Why weight till Spring when you can do it now! Your son will have some great memories of you and him doing those cards, way to go Mom!
