HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE, to ALL!
I hope your day was GREAT! Anyone doing anything special this evening? I stopped by Shelby's house today, and I took her a poinsettia. She loves flowers so she was happy. My sister, Kay, is having the family over on Christmas Day. She is usually late making her plans, so we just found out today that she wants us there at Noon tomorrow. Shelby (my other sister) is having a family party on Sunday evening. I am looking forward to going to both parties.
I had errands to run today, but not really any Christmas shopping other than getting the poinsettia for Shelby. There were a lot of people out doing last minute shopping. I went out last night and finished getting all that I was going to get. The crowds weren't bad last night because I went late, and I only went to one store and bought gift cards.
I had two classes today, and I substituted almost two hours for the guy who was the Fitness Floor worker. He'd been there for most of the shift, and when I was through with my last class at 11:15 AM, he asked if I could work his shift until the YMCA closed at 1:00 PM. He had people visiting from out of town who were waiting on him to start having fun. Of course I said that I could stay.
Nothing going on here this evening. My youngest son is visiting friends, and I am going to wrap or bag presents when I am done with my Spark People stuff. I hope you all have a BLESSED day tomorrow.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you for your comments. You are all so thoughtful, and I appreciate that you stop by for a visit.
I did a little of the 'running around' today. I will do a little more tomorrow, and a little more on Tuesday, and then that's it! Actually, our family Christmas party isn't until next Sunday, so that will still leave me a couple more days to 'run around.'
MARYJEANSL - I remember those days of wrapping the boy's gifts only a few hours before they would get up on Christmas morning. It was hard work, but I think I enjoyed it. No children in my house any longer, and with five 'frisky' cats who figured out ways to destroy all gift bags and tear the paper and bows off wrapped gifts, any gifts that are wrapped now have to stay in my bedroom.
MRS_TOAD - Glad you got your 'running around' done already. Yeah, the crowds aren't getting any smaller as Christmas approaches. I think I am going to do the Gift Card thing since my sons won't tell me anything that they want. That can all be done in one stop.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL! I gotta get out of here and get to the store. I may just be able to finish my shopping TONIGHT!

Not that the weekend is much different from any other days of the week, but still I look forward to each weekend. Nothing will go on around here, but I only have one class on each Saturday and Sunday. I will be starting a second class on Sunday in January. I do not have any Fitness Floor hours again until next Friday night. Christmas will be over by then, and everyone will start thinking about the lifestyle changes they will make in the New Year. Not much action at the YMCA on Friday nights though. After the kids get back in school, things will start to 'pick up' again.
I need to do a lot of 'running around' this weekend. I hope that I will actually DO IT, because the time for procrastinating is OVER. No more weekends left to 'put things off' if I want to get them done by Christmas.
I hope you haven't procrastinated (Like I have), and that you can each take it easy this weekend. Whatever your plans, I hope yours is a GREAT WEEKEND!

I hope you are all doing well. I have canceled my Tues/Thurs evening class until January 5, so I am here earlier than usual. Attendance was very low, and since it was a commission class, it really wasn't worth my time. Hopefully, attendance will pick up at the first of the New Year. If not, I will cancel it permanently and find a location where people will come, OR I may just remain free on those two nights.
Another cold and dreary day, but no rain today after a lot of rain last night. I have started delivering my 'gift basket' of small gifts to my classes. They really get a 'kick' and sometimes a 'laugh' out of the gifts. I like doing that, especially since my classes take very good care of me at Christmas.
I hope you all have a GREAT FRIDAY and a WONDERFUL WEEKEND.
