Never give up, my friends. Just don't. Try new things if the old things aren't working, and don't lose sight of your goal.
In the last three weeks, I missed my Spark friends, put in a lot of overtime at work, got a few things done around the house, cut back on my daily water intake, got right indignant with my crohn's, and waited to see my doctor. I also managed, overnight, to put on five pounds. That was about two weeks ago. That pushed me to stop weighing myself daily. I'm still trying to eat well and enough (and I do not like eating), trying to exercise (at a reduced level) and trying to get enough sleep (sleep is not my friend). Today, the doctor advised me to stop drinking my previous 8-10 glasses of water daily, and handed me paperwork to go for more tests. And a prescription to help with the crohn's.
The good news is, my blood pressure today was 120/72. The last time I had it measured (five months ago, I believe) it was 140/90.
Weight's up. BP's down. Crohn's about to take a beating.
Life is good.
