Week 1 - April Challenge Report

I am going to push hard in April to reach new/old goals! I am going to be stricter with myself and I am going to finally break into the 160's!

I am going to stay in a 1400-1500 calorie range! (Easy with Sensa's help!)
--Week 1 - Not so great weekend kicked my average out the window, but been on track all week.
I am going to get a lot more protien on a regular basis up from 60g to 100g at least!
--Week 1 - Average 125g of Protien
I am going to get back on a regular schedule with my exercising!
--Week 1 - Not exactly a schedule, but I did do it. (11 hrs over 7 days)
I am going to track it all on SparkPeople!
--Week 1 - Tracked Food and Walking
I am going to increase my average steps per day(10,000)!
--Week 1 - 9,255 - Not a bad start, but will do better!
I am going to increase my daily burn via my BodyBugg (2400-2500)!
--Week 1 - Averaged 2504, but not as impressive considering a number of low days and a just one good high day got me that.

Start Weight = April 1st = 173
--Week 1 - 171.5 (1.5 lbs lost, plus whatever I really put on over the weekend eating out)
End Weight Goal = April 30th = 165
Goal Weight = 160 (Giving myself till the end of May)

Just posting this as extra motivation, so somebody will know that I am still here and still working hard!

I am getting the Digital Display for my Body Bugg tonight and hoping that will help me get the averages up... not that I don't have to do the work, but to have it at the ready all the time to know where I stand, I am thinking will be extra motivation to keep going till I reach my goals for the day. Currently having to sit down at the computer to check my status is time wasted I don't have and doing it at bed time is a little late to find out I am behind!

I also got a new Wii game to get me up and moving with the kiddos! Country Dance! As a huge fan of Just Dance, I think this will be fun for me and the girls!

I am having Mexican food tonight... but I am going to be more careful and not leave stuffed! Then I will work hard over the weekend to pay for it and hopefully start back on Monday at least even!

So, first 4 days have felt useless! I haven't met my goals for everything on any day yet. I meet one or two and fail on others. I traveled with a friend, her child and my kids to Dallas on Saturday and didn't eat remotely clean, so it kinda blew the weekend. I got back on the food track on Monday, but even then, didn't stay on the exercise track. Feeling totally un-motivated. I have a toe that is hurting and thus not wanting to walk as much as I said I would. Just feeling lazy and hungry and I never feel hungry usually with Sensa at my side. Course drinking protien shakes more means less Sensa...so may need to find better ways to incorporate Sensa during the day. Cause my desire to snack at night is crazy and I like I said, I haven't such urges while on Sensa before. So going to focus on getting my act together. I really want this, but it feels like my body is fighting me at every turn and I am letting it win, which isn't like me! Got to get past this funk!

    I have been using Sensa for just over 2 yrs. I have lost 91.5 lbs with it at my side! I lost 70 lbs the first 12 months, the 2nd 12 months I have lost more in sizes than on the scale due to exercise. Thanks for the comments! It helps to remember always that we aren't alone in the battle! And I do remember who won... I am determined.. just feeling a bit lost lately!

    Your blog caught my eye because I like turtles! emoticon So I must remind you...In the classic fable, The Tortoise and the Hare, who won????? Uh huh, that's right the turtle!!! emoticon YOU CAN DO THIS!

I've seen the infomercial for Sensa and wondered if it really worked. How long have you been trying it?

Wallahalla...It's a powder you sprinkle on your food and it's supposed to make you feel fuller quicker.

No Foolin' Around in April

Tuesday 11pm – 1am Wed
Wednesday 8am – 10am
Wednesday 1pm-2pm
Wednesday 5-6pm
Wednesday 9pm-11pm

(all times central)

I got some Size 10 Levis' this weekend! So excited. Working on my tan and getting my hair done this weekend! So look out!

Don't Wait to Live!

I want to make it clear, I haven't waited to start enjoying my new life until I get to my goal! I started living my life to the fullest in order to reach my goals!!

When I reach my goal of losing 100 lbs, it will be a great day, but still just one day… the last 20 months I have spent in getting to where I am now and the months I still have ahead of me till I reach that day - will not be forgotten though. They were lived to the fullest most of the time and many great memories made!

    We both are living in the here and now...and it has been well earned. You've lost 88lbs. I've lost 82 lbs. and we are almost there.
You give encouragement to those who may just be starting their journey, or to those who may have lost their way that it is so worth it to get back on the path to a healthier life style.
