There is a Difference!

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

There is a difference in being optimistic and knowing who you are in Christ Jesus! I have been optimistic nearly all of my life, but there was a time when I was also a worrier! Yes, I have always looked at the glass 1/2 full rather than 1/2 empty and never have liked pessimistic behavior around me. You can be optimistic and have faith, but still not believe that your every need is met and that no matter what goes on in the world around you, you can have a peace that truly passes all understanding and be happy! This is the difference in Optimism and having a personal relationship with God and knowing who you are in Christ Jesus and who Christ Jesus is in you!

Some may think you are not dealing with reality when truthfully that is exactly what your are dealing with and how you are living your life! You see when we make Jesus our Lord and Savior then we KNOW who our source is, who our provider is, that He never will leave us nor forsake us, that He meets our every need ~ even before we know what it is and that we have an eternal home with Him! Eternal Home! That is forever and ever and ever!

To know who you are in Christ Jesus and who He is in you, you have to read, study, feed upon and absorb His book ~ The Bible! It is all there in black and white and red! It’s simple and oh, so rewarding! Find a good church with a shepherd who not only teaches his flock, but also feeds them meat!

Once I was optimistic! Now I know who I am in Christ Jesus and who He is in me! I walk in that wonderful peace of God’s that passes all understanding. I have no fear or worry of what lies ahead according to the ‘world’ because I may be in this world, but I am not of this world! I know who my Source is and I know that my Daddy is always there to take care of and protect me! You see…I am my Daddy’s Girl and proud of it!

Have an abundantly blessed day!

Love and Blessings,

~Judy~

Trials, Tribulations and Temptations

Thursday, January 17, 2013

Are you one of those people that have trials, tribulations and temptations coming at you what seems like a lot? Or are you one of those that everything in your life goes without any challenges? Well, let me tell you something…If you never are faced with any challenges then there is something not right in your life because satan is not bothering with you because he doesn’t have too! He is already in control of your life!

When you love God, have faith in Him and are sharing your love for Him in not just words, but in how you live your life, then you will have trials, temptations, challenges popping up! Then you can be sure you are on the right track! The more you love Him, honor Him, obey Him and His Word and share Him, the stronger the trials, temptations and challenges! The wonderful thing is that through all this, your faith and trust become stronger! You learn who you are in Christ Jesus. That you are in this world but not of this world. You learn to stand on God’s Word, to take the Authority you have been given In Jesus’ Name! You learn who your Provider, your Source is and you can actually “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” James 1: 2-4 The Message.

God Bless you today as you grow, become strengthened and mature in God, His Word and His Love!

Love and Blessings In Jesus’ Name,

~ Judy ~

Thank you for this blog. I always told my young nephew when satan comes knocking at your door get your running shoes on & start running. I told him satan will always be picking at your back wanting you when you have Christ in your life. I told him satan does not bother the disbelievers in Christ ,because he all ready has them in his clutches. As scriptures say one day every knee shall bow. Take care it is so good to read one Praising Our Lord & Savior.

Granddarlings aka Grandchildren

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

There is nothing more precious on this earth than Granddarlings aka Grandchildren! Oh, our children are one of God’s greatest gifts, but we get so busy providing for, raising, disciplining and teaching them that we sometimes forget to fully enjoy them! Then God presents us with one of His Supreme gifts…GRANDCHILDREN!

Grandchildren are an extension of our children! Have you heard the expression payback? Well, in a lot of ways that is true ~ you can see a lot of your child in your child’s child, but sometimes you can also see your child’s sibling or even yourself when you were a child! You can also witness the wonderful gifts God has placed in them and the unending possibilities!

Your heart swells with an unconditional love like non other; you have the opportunity to love, enjoy, laugh, guide, teach and yes even discipline them without the day to day responsibilities! One of the most rewarding things is to watch them grow and mature not only physically but also spiritually! There is nothing more beautiful than a child’s faith and love for God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit! I treasure the talks my Granddarlings and I have had and continue to have regarding our God! One of the most rewarding, enduring and most special things my Granddarlings has ever said to me was when Emma and Zachary were like 3 and 5. I was telling them how they were growing up too fast and Zachary said, ‘Mimi, we growing too fast?’ I said, ‘yes’ and Emma said ‘why’? I told them that there would come a day when they would be too busy and not need MiMi as much. Emma said, ‘I know what Mimi! When we grow up and have children, you can keep them and teach them about Jesus’! I will treasure this forever!

If you are blessed with a Granddarling(s) or Grandchildren, please treasure them beyond measure! Treasure every minute, every memory! They are truly one of God’s Supreme blessings!

These are all photos of our son's children from the birth of Sammy (MiMi's little Caboose ~ the last train on the car ~) to first day of school August 2012

This is our daughter's son, Christopher, our first Granddarling. He is now a Man and a good-looking one at that! He is on his way to becoming a Professor!

We are so proud of all our Granddarlings! God is so good to us! Have a blessed day and remember to pray for, love on and thank God everyday for your precious Granddarlings aka Grandchildren!

Love and Abundant Blessings,
~ Judy ~

I have joked that Grandchildren are our reward for not killing our kids when they were teenagers!
I am blessed to have my 2 eldest grands living with me, along with their Mom who is one of my best friends 9and sparkbuddies). I have two others in Ohio - one of whome I never met, the other whom I haven't seen since Christmas 08. My son and their mother have divorced, and he's in Utah, so HE also hurts to see them. And I have one more on the way, in IRELAND. I hope and pray the Lord allows me to take a cruise to the land of my ancestors and meet him and any siblings he may have by then!
You're so right - we gotta keep praying for them!

Know Who You Are!

Monday, January 14, 2013

There is so much negativeness in the world! satan is really running scared because he is trying to throw fear into everyone at every turn! I am so thankful that I KNOW, HAVE A CLOSE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH and TRUST God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and The Holy Spirit!!! *satan is nothing but a little wimp! The only power he has is the power we give him by believing his lies and walking in fear, doubt and worry! he has no place in my life and I constantly remind him of his future and where he is spending eternity!

I may be in this world, but I am not of it! I am a Child of God Almighty! Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) is my Lord and Savior and The Holy Spirit is my Comforter who guides my every step!

Don’t believe the lies of satan. This Nation, The United States of America, is God’s Nation and He has not forsaken it, but it is up to us to stand strong and declare the Word of God over every situation; rebuke the evilness and to pray for and love our enemies with the Love of God! Hallelujah! All Glory to God Almighty!

Have a Highly Blessed, Divine Health, Prosperous Beyond Measure, Unprecedented Favor and Grace Above and Beyond Anything You Can Imagine Year of 2013!

Love and Blessings Always,

~ Judy ~

*I do NOT capitalize or in any way recognize satan as anyone or thing being worthy of capitalization

It's Never Too Late to Learn Something

Monday, September 17, 2012

No matter how much we may think we know, it is never too late to learn something new! I love continually learning something new and different. Oh, sometimes it can be frustrating, but it is also extremely satisfying when you have been through the frustration and actually learned something!

Do you think you know beyond a shadow of doubt the true meaning of a certain, maybe your favorite scripture? Some time try reading and studying it from a different translation and see what you learn! No matter how many times you may read that scripture, you can always get something new and different from it…a clearer understanding! It also depends on what is going on in your life at that particular time! God is so good…He will take a familiar, favorite scripture and according to your need at the time, bring a new, fresh revelation to you from it…an answer for your current need!

Never take God for granted and never stop learning something new! Not only are you gaining knowledge, you are also exercising your brain and strengthening it! The brain just as with the body needs constant exercise to keep it strong! My husband’s grandmother was 99 when she decided to go home to be with Jesus and his mother was 93. Their minds were as sharp as when they were younger because they continually exercised them! Grandma was constantly working on the family tree, researching, studying, etc. Mom was always reading and doing needle work on quilts, etc. My Nana was 95 and she was always doing search puzzles!

God promises to satisfy us with a long life, but we have to do our part! Eat right, drink lots of water, exercise our bodies and our minds! We age but we don’t have to grow old and certainly not feeble! Remember to constantly be looking for something new to learn! Hey, you have just learned something from this Blog! Hallelujah! Be blessed!

Love and Blessings,

~ Judy ~

Smith Wigglesworth who was one of the greatest men of God in the 20th century was a British Evangelist. He was a plumber and his wife taught him to read. The only thing he ever read was the Bible, no newspaper no book! He knew that if it was in the Bible it was true! He had one of the greatest healing ministries of all times! After meeting Jesus when I get to Heaven, I want to meet Smith Wigglesworth! If you get a chance to read any of his books do so, it will strengthen your walk with God! :)

My Grandmother passed away at 90. Her mind was very sharp as well. She went to school for only a couple days in her life & quit. Back then, it didn't matter if they went to school or not, and she didn't like it so she quit. She taught herself to read by reading God's Word, and her mind stayed sharp with her sense of humor her whole life. God's Word does wonderful things!

I love reading "old familiar" scriptures in a different translation, or studying using a Strong's concordance. Sometimes those "old familiars" don't say exactly what we remember them saying! lol
