Point of no Return

Thursday, March 10, 2011

I am now more than halfway to my main goal. I really liked seeing my froggie this morning. I found out for sure I can't completely do the 10 min. challenge. I don't know why but a disc had to be replaced in my neck 7 yrs. ago. Now my spine is destabilizing. So it'll be off to see my new favorite neurosurgeon. Being a little snarky there. I will continue to drink plenty of water, exercise when I can, and continue tracking. I am so glad I found this place and you people. Now the fun part, telling my mom.

My mom took it okay. There's just a lot going on with a nephew.

Sorry to hear about your physical problems. I think as long as you stay in tune with your body and do exercises that don't hurt you - like you said, 'what I can' you're already there! Hopefully, you'll mother will understand and be so proud of what you achieved so far and what you ARE achieving.

Have a great Thursday. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Do what you can, when you can and that's all that can be expected. Praying things go well with your Mom.

...I am getting there. What I want to lose is finally in the single digits. The icing on the cake will be how I look at my class reunion next year. It won't really matter to anybody cause I got along with almost everybody, but it sure will feel good.

It is above freezing! I saw buds on trees the other day! I have been able to turn down the heat! I'm starting to want to do something outside besides hibernate! Please let the weather keep getting sunnier and a little warmer!

I am being pretty creative with my menu this week, if I do say so myself. So far I've made whole grain pasta casserole, blanched cabbage leaf tacos, and mini whole wheat turkey and broccoli pizzas. It's even better since my kids have really liked it! I don't always get what's on my menu plan, but I get the equivalent that I can afford until payday.

Going Forward

Friday, December 31, 2010

I will get back with you "next year", hahaha. Please keep me in your prayers as I go to a neurologist. My md just couldn't find any good news for me yesterday. So I do what I can and keep that spark going around me with God's grace. Thanks so much for sticking around for each other. You may not realize how much it means. Take care!

All our goals are different, but yet they are the same. We like ourselves, so we want to take care of ourselves. We want to be healthier and be there for our family, friends, kids, and grandkids. We realize how meaningful each day is and will be. Above all, we want to be there for ourselves, and God wants us to be there for Him too. I don't think that changes all the different faiths we have. Again, take care! Each year can only get better!
