I can't believe I am actually able to run two miles at a nice clip. I did 1 mile in 8 min 15 sec and was quite proud of myself. Never thought I would be able to run again after breaking my back five years ago. I seem to be a bit stuck on my weight loss lately, but it helps to concentrate on other goals with my fitness. Still doing Tae Chi and throwing some weight lifting in now and then to keep up my body strength. I have a goal of running a 4 mile trail race in October and that is starting to seem like a real possibility. I will be helping out at a marathon Sunday who knows by next year maybe even run a half a marathon or a full one. You never know. For now one day at a time. I am feeling healthier everyday.
