Since Saturday 12th of October I have lost 2.3 kilos.... imagine what I could do with more effort in the exercise department.
note... I am focusing on healthy eating and portion control at the moment.
Whilst I am still walking and going to ballet classes I havent doing much else in the way of exercise but will start to increase it slowly.
So I havent been overly committed of late (again!!!) but i have recommitted to becoming a healthier me. I weighed myself on Saturday 12th October and again today - Wednesday 16th October and have lost 1.6 kilo.
Okay, so I have been missing at spark for a while but I am back now and that is the first step. I need to get my self back on track now that I have the all clear to start exercising again.
I am back at Ballet and Tai Chi but I just cant seem to get myself out of bed in the morning to do an exercise DVD. It is just so cold .... But I am going to take baby steps and aim for just one morning this week and then make it two next week. I figure something is better than nothing.
Anyway thats the plan for now... wish me luck and have a great week fellow sparkers.
In February my partner and I went to India and had such a wonderful time we are planning on going back with the 3 kids for 3 -4 weeks. Even with that amount of time I doubt we could cover even a fraction of what this country has to offer.
Whilst we were there we were lucky enough to spend time with some wonderful people, attend a traditional south Indian wedding and see some wonderful sites.
heres a few pictures I thought you may enjoy...
the above three photos are of a beautiful Hari Krishna Temple a couple of hours drive from Bangalore. It was a stunning site raising up in the middle of nothing. no housing in sight around it that we saw but the temple was full of people.

India's version of our "truck stop" - Best meal EVER. We had such a great time here.
South Indian Wedding - so beautiful and colourful. the ladies wore the most stunning Sari in bright coloured pure silk threaded with gold.
Wedding reception - the bride and groom stood for the entire evening as the guest filed pass and had photos taken with them. The guest mingled and ate a lovely meal but the bride and groom never left the stage and the photographer. They looked exhausted by the end of the night.
We were so lucky to have experience this trip to India.... And to be welcomed into the homes of such lovely people.
