Another beautiful day in PA! But the word from the weather people is that tomorrow, it is supposed to turn toward more fall like weather. While I enjoy the weather that we have had the past week, I am so glad it is going to be more like it is supposed to be this time of year! I like the crisp days of fall, when you need to start getting out the sweatshirts! I just hope that once the weather changes, the kids will stay healthy and not pick up everything that is going around.

I'm so glad the weather is turning too! I love those crips fall days, the rustle and crunch of the leaves under feet, the tang of apple cider and the comfort of nice sweaters and sweatshirts! I'm so glad it's finally feeling like fall!

I thought I read or heard something in the news about the weather being unseasonably hot in the east. It's getting chilly here! Down in the 50's most of the time. Hopefully you guys won't catch anything too bad...just make sure everybody washes their hands with warm soapy water throughout the day. When my kids were younger, we started making that a habit, and it worked wonders!

I'm in Ohio and our weatherperson is saying the same thing... I am excited as well! It has been sooooooo hot here lately - almost too hot!

I'm an oddball who does not enjoy the glorious summer heat but much prefers the crisp fall weather. Also, that means the holidays are just around the corner! :-) I hope you and your family will stay healthy as the cold weather arrives. I'll probably get a flu shot just in case!

Got up this morning, ate breakfast and then cleaned for 1.5 hours. Got the kitchen done, will do the floor later tonight after the kids go to bed. The living room is also almost done. My daughter was working on that for me, but I have to go back and do touch ups on it. I also got 3 loads of laundry in! So I guess we will be going to the zoo this afternoon.

Also, when I weighed in this morning, I was down another 2lbs!!! I think that this is the lightest that I have been in 10 years, and I am really starting to feel a lot better.

Last night at bowling, one of the girls brought in cupcakes to the bowling lanes. They sat on our table for 2.5 hours, and I resisted them the entire time. Even when they kept offering them to me so they could get rid of them! I wasn't even tempted by them. I definetly think that this is a big step in the right direction. However, when I got home and went up to my friends house, they were celebrating their son's birthday with brownies. So I took a small piece, it was 2 bites! And it satisified me. And I stayed within my calorie range.

Congratulations on losing more weight! Good for you for resisting the temptations surrounding you all night. One or two bites of brownie is not oly the right thing to do, it won't change your caloric intake enough to be concerned...unless, of course, your two bites were one brownie each! LOL!

Congratulations on your will power and losing another 2 pounds! I'm so happy and proud of everyone because so many LAP team members are reporting weight loss in today's blog entries. Doesn't it feel good that junk food is losing its hold on us? It must be a wonderful feeling to be the lightest in 10 years... Keep up the great work!

YAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!! Wow! Another 2 pounds?!!? You rock!! I am SOOOO proud of you! You're doing it!

I'm proud of you too about the cupcakes! Didn't that really empower you, when you realized that you really didn't even want them? That's SUCH a good feeling. Wow...a super high bowling score, no cupcakes, and 2 more pounds gone!!! You're on a roll! Or should I say RUN!

OK, I didn't go to bed yet, so I guess it is still 10/7/07 LOL! What a busy and beautiful day today! Got up and went to church, came home, got a bite to eat and then went to watch Kimberly cheer. The boys lost, but it was still a lot of fun, and really hot today! Then came home, made dinner and off to bowling. I had a decent night tonight, 245, 176 and 135 for a 556 series! The 245 was high enough for me to get lane high for the women! And I raised my average 3 pins tonight, so I am up to a 166 average now. Then I went to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things, realized what time it was, checked out quickly and got my butt home so that my hubby could go to work! Then I walked up to my friends house and spent a couple of hours with them, and then came and put the kids to bed. No school tomorrow, so they got a treat and were able to stay up late!

Ok, game plan for tomorrow is to get the house cleaned up in the morning so that we can go to the zoo in the afternoon!

Work has been busy today, but it is my Friday!!! I am going to go out tonight after work with a friend to listen to some music and dance. Since it will be late when I get in, that will probably be the only exercise I get today, but it will be a lot of fun!!!

I wish you and I lived closer to each other...I want to go dancing too!!! When I start to get a little healthier, there's a club in Seattle where you can go swing dancing. I went once with my daughter and some friends..I just watched that night but it was so much fun!! Soon!

Good Intentions--Ok, My days off work are Sun, Mon and Tues, and every week, my intentions are to clean the house on Mondays. As I look around the house, the toys are sneaking into the living room, the kitchen and the den, there is piles of clutter on just about every flat space, and laundry that has been folded, but not taken back and put away in drawers. But something always comes up that is so much more interesting to do then to clean!! (imagine that, LOL) And ususally it isn't anything more than it is a beautiful day out, lets go outside and play! But now it is getting to the point where the dust is building up and the floors definetly need scrubbed. So I am asking you, my spark friends to make me accountable on Monday to do this!!! Good thing about this Monday and doing this, is my daughter is home from school, they have the day off, and she can help!!!!

Hey, you said house cleaning is on Monday, right? That means you can still play on Sunday! Have fun, and make sure your daughter helps out on Monday!

I second the vote for the maid idea!! I hate house cleaning too, but I'll bug..I mean..remind you on Monday!

Ya know, even though the house cleaning has to get done at some point, just think how good you're being to yourself and your health by going outside and playing!! You should be proud!!

I need to find a hula hoop buddy! That sounds like so much fun! Of course, I would need to find a hula hoop that would fit around my chubby little belly!!!

Are you sure we have to MAKE you do housework. How mean of us. Housework stinks. I'd rather be outside too! I think you need a maid so you can go play and not have to be in doing housework. Wish I was rich so I could give you one!
