Wow! good for you! I can just barely hold the ball, much less lift and bounce it.

Bootcamp Day 26

Thursday, January 28, 2010

Today's bootcamp went well. I like the lower body exercises that were for today. For cardio, I brought firewood into the house for 45 min.

Not much else going on today, except work.

Bootcamp Day 24

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

This is my favorite day of bootcamp! I love doing the upper body exercises, and today I did a new one, pushups on the ball! Woohoo! I am noticing that it is taking me longer on the Wii to work up a good sweat. But I am working hard the entire time! I am feeling so much better! Still not noticing a big difference on the scale, but I am noticing a difference in the way my clothes fit! Yay!!!

And as a follow up to the blog about the fight with my hubby. We got a chance to talk tonight, and hopefully things will get better. We are going to try to get some time for us, since it is mostly about the kids. Working 2 different shifts and very different schedules is hard, but we will make it! Our 12th anniversary is on Valentine's day, and we will be going away for the weekend.

Kudos for you for sticking with the booth camp! I have had my rough patches and not followed it every day.
I'm glad you were able to talk with hubby. It can be so hard, especially with children to take time for yourselves.

Congratulations on your Bootcamp! You are doing awesome!

Sorry about the fight with your DH. But it sounds like you two are doing all the right things to work through it. That's what will make your relationship stronger.

Bootcamp day 23

Monday, January 25, 2010

I got up this morning, got the kids off to school, came home and was getting ready to do day 23 of the bootcamp. I walk into the den, and the power goes out. Bummer. So I stand there waiting, and it tries to come back on, but no, there it goes, right back out. So I stand there waiting for a couple of more minutes, hoping that it will come back on so that I can get my workout done. Nothing.

Well, good time as any to head to the grocery store. So went grocery shopping. I use easy shop, where you scan your items as you shop, and then pay for them on the way out. So I tried to use that, my card was not working, had to get it reset. Said it had to do with the store losing power, no big deal to get it reactivated. Got my shopping done and head back home. The power is back on! Checked out the clocks in the kitchen, and the power had on been back on for 11 min. Good timing! Put the groceries away and get the workout completed!

Then off to do the 30 day challenge on the Wii. What a frustrating workout. The Wii was not recognizing that I was doing the exercises. Get only half way through and had to get my son off the bus. We get home, and I start lunch, and try to get the rest of the workout in before eating. I gave up, it was too frustrating. As I was turning the thing off, my son (5 yrs old) says "Mommy, it needs new batteries." Ugghhhhh. That is probably why I was having so many issues. Why does it take a 5 yr old to figure that out. Well ran out of time anyway, so I will replace the batteries when I get home and try again.

Then got into work, and the rain and wind that we had last night and today wrecked havoc with the circuits and we were busy all day long.

Out of the mouths of children. I still have to have my teenage granddaughter help me with the computer. Thank goodness for the help we get.
