Bootcamp Day 14

Today the boot camp video was harder then I remembered it, LOL. I still got it done, but I struggled with it a little. I don't know if it is because I have been worker harder and am a little sore, or crunches just aren't my thing.

My hubby and I went to a wedding this afternoon, so I pampered myself a little and went and got a manicure. It was so nice to relax and let someone else do my nails. After I finished getting my nails done, I went for a walk around the mall to let my nails completely dry before going home. It was a really nice day here for a walk.

The wedding was great. I was a little bad with the desserts, but the food that they served was healthy, I had a serving of roast beef, red potatoes and greenbeans and carrots. I am hoping that it didn't put me off track to bad. I still managed to stay within my calorie range.

And I danced for about an hour. 45 min of fast dancing and 15 min of slow dancing. It was a lot of fun, and we stayed until the end.

So all in all, a good day. Now I have to work 9 straight days so the guy can go on his honeymoon. The overtime will be great!

    Good for your for pamper yourself by getting your nails done. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself at the wedding. Dancing is such a fun way to exercise! Although you indulged a bit with the desserts, it sounds like you still ate quite sensibly. Dancing for an hour definitely burned off a lot of calories!

Bless you for covering for the groom at work, so he can fully enjoy his honeymoon. I hope he will bring you a nice souvenir upon his return! emoticon

    I'm glad you had a good time at the wedding. I'm sure the dancing offset the extra desserts and you have been working out a lot so I don't think you did any damage.

In my experience crunches get easier the more that you do them. I used to hate them but since I've been doing them regularly I'm actually starting to enjoy them and they don't hurt as much.

Bootcamp Day 13

Bootcamp video went well today. Those tricep dips on the ball are a killer, LOL!

I did some cleaning today for my cardio since today was a day of rest on the Wii Active challenge.

I really need to work on lowering the sodium in my diet. I am way high there. Otherwise, I am staying within my calorie range.

    I do what I can from the video's. can't really keep up but at least I keep moving. I don't know why but I hadn't thought of using cleaning as cardio. Great idea!

Bootcamp Day 12

I love the lower body exercises in this bootcamp video. Today for my cardio, I bowled out. I rolled a 203, 201 and 216 for a 620 series! Woohoo!!! It was only the second time that I rolled a triple duece! Then I went home from the bowling lanes and did the Wii Active. I am working on the 30 day challenge and today was day 2. What a workout. I was dripping in sweat by the time I was done, and feeling great! The Wii Active does a lot of lunges, running and also uses resistance bands for the upper body. I love it. My kids love doing it too.

Tomorrow is weigh in, so I will see if all the hard work I have been doing is going to pay off. I hope so!

Day 11 bootcamp

Still going strong with the boot camp. Today's video is hard for me because I can't be on my knees, it hurts too much, so I just do the harder version for the exercise. But all is good. Had fun with the cardio too, doing the Wii Active and playing with the different exercises and intensities there. It does give you a good workout!

    Go girl! I got off work and caught half of my Jazzercise class. That on top of the double last night and I hope to do a double again tomorrow if I don't get called in to work and I hope to lose a lb this week!

Challenge

Ok, tonight I had a chance to do some catching up with my best friend. Since my hours at work changed, we don't get to see each other everyday, so I cherish the time I do get to spend with her.

Well we got to talking about my journey here, and how I gained back 20 pounds that I fought so hard to take off. She had stopped by my page earlier and was looking at my new goals, and threw out a challenge to me. If I make my goal by July 31st, which is to be at 160 pounds, she will buy me a pair of jeans.

So, of course I took her up on the challenge. I am going to do this, I may even put a picture of a pair of jeans up everywhere I look, LOL!

Of course, it is not about the jeans, but the fact that I really need to do this, the jeans are just a bonus. But I do like the carrot that she is dangling in front of me to get it done.

    I had also been there and regained alnost 20 pounds last summer, and I still struggle with that last half pound of it. My thing was accountability......that is why I joined SP. I needed to be accountable. Sometimes we just need to re-focus. Our habits just need a little tweaking. You know you can do this! You did it before, and you WILL do it again!
