Finally at overweight instead of obese.

I can gladly to say that I am overweight instead of obese as of today. For many this would not be an accomplishment but for those of us who have been obese for many years it is quite an accomplishment. I know that other Sparkers have also declared that they are overweight instead of being obese. We all need to decide what feels good for ourselves. I am marching on hoping to perhaps lose more weight but if not I know that I am proud of myself.

    Congratulations! That's an accomplishment. The sad thing is, I figured it out, and when I get to my Sparkpeople goal weight my BMI will still be at overweight. When I get there I will re-evaluate and see if I need to reset my goal weight. I haven't been that thin since I was first married.

I reached my goal

Today at weigh in I reached my goal weight. Now I need to re-evaluate and decide where I go from here. Just 3 more pounds and I will have lost 70 pounds and 2 more pounds to over weight and not obese. emoticon emoticon

    Way to go. NOW... the really hard part ... maintenance. If you add calories, do it VERY slowly. I add 100 a day and keep it at that level for a whole week before adding another 100 a day. See my blog for more information. There is a great SP article there.
