Very Very Busy Day

The alarm went off at the normal time 6am. helped my buddy get ready for work like we do normally mon-fri. After that I decided to go lay down for a little bit. My sister wanted to walk the dogs in the morning but since I knew I was going to have a very long busy day I opted to snooze a bit more.

So off I went up the PA Turnpike to one of my Three (yes three) offices I work out of. It was a normal day there, someone volunteered to make lunch as they always do. It was delicious it was bow tie pasta with spinach and alfredo sauce. My co-workers laughed at me because I asked "Hey do we have a measuring cup" So I was afraid that I would go over my calories, so I did not eat much ( only 3/4 of a cup) and a bunch of water.

Then it was off to the second office ( yes two offices in one day) there I had to meet with a staff person and some co-workers.

Then it was out to dinner with my boss, when there I was concerned about ordering a healthy meal. So I went for the salad - I know I can never go wrong there.

Then it was off to yet another meeting, after the meeting I called my sister to see if she was still game for going to the gym. So now we are talking about it being after 8pm.

Got home and changed into my swim suit and went and soaked in the hot tub then did some laps in the pool, It was very relaxing and well deserved after a long busy day.

I still continue to have trouble getting all of my calories in. I am eating a lot of vegetables/salads and chicken.

Well tomorrow is an easier day at work I will be able to get to the gym at a decent time, do my cardio and my circuit.

    My God you swim like a fish woman! Half a lap and I was huffing! I still wish we did synchronized cannonballs in the hot tub, but oh there is always next time!

OK everyone today was official weigh in and I am proud to say I made the scale move, and I made it move 5 lbs.

As you all know me I had hurt my back over a week a go and I was not getting in the normal work outs at the gym. As my back was feeling better I started doing little workouts home off of demand.

It worked, OMG I can't believe it.

Now that I am back to the gym I am stepping it up a tad, trying new machines and taking different classes. My new obsession is my arms. I saw a trainer that had nice arms and I want mine to look like hers. So I am doing my normal circuit routine then bumping it up at bit on the arms. Anyone want to buy a ticket to the gun show LOL LOL emoticon

I am still battling the calorie issues I am not getting enough calories every day. I am trying new recipes from spark people, which gives me an idea of what the calories will be so I can better plan out my day.

I never thought I would utter these words "I Missed The Gym"

Well tomorrow is going to be a busy day, I am getting up early for the gym. when I say early I mean 6am, after a few hour workout, its a hike up the turnpike to one of my offices for a meeting. I am hoping to get home early enough so I can take a walk with my puppies. They are so much fun to take to the park. I bet alot of the people in the park laugh at us walking our dogs Harley goes straight, Lola goes left and Gabby "look something shinny' she goes every which way (inside joke)

OK everyone wish me luck, I'm about to kick my sisters butt again this week
LOL LOL Move over Dottie I'm going to be on that Harley before you.

    Yay, glad to hear your feeling good, seeing results, and that your back is on the mend. I tried a weight lifting class this week at my gym and loved it! maybe you have a similar class at your gym? you should try it. emoticon

Ok tomorrow is the day... I am going back to the gym, my back feels good.

I have been doing exercises at home like the biggest looser work out, I did yoga, a dance aerobics trying to stretch out my back and it seemed like it helped.

Its going to be a quick work out at the gym in the morning I have to take my Mom to the Dr's by 9am then I have to get to work right after that because I have to do payroll for my staff so they will get paid.

I am hoping that I can get out of work by 4 and get home and enjoy a nice walk in the park with my puppies since it stays light out longer.

Well guys wish me luck on my first day back to the gym in over a week. Even though I have not been to the gym I have managed ( not the official weigh in) to loose 4 pounds.

I am drinking my water
still not eating enough calories every day
and I am moving, not the normal workouts but I'm moving.

    I am sure you will be fine at the gym tomorrow. You can do it. You are usually on the low impact bike anyway. Make sure you stretch in the sauna first!

Well today is a week since I have been to the gym. I am so bummed that I haven't been able to go. Yesterday I worked from home I wasn't feeling good due to the pain, it made my stomach upset and I was visiting the ladies room a little to frequent to be traveling.

Well even though I have not gone to the gym and have not been eating right (not enough calories) I still lost 4 more pounds. Now you know the minute I start putting food in my mouth those 4 pounds will be back LOL LOL.

My back is feeling better and so is my stomach, so I started off this morning with a lite breakfast. I was able to get out of bed with out a struggle.

I'm looking forward in getting back to the gym, I never thought you would here those words come out of my mouth.

    You've really been having a tough time of it, Liss. Glad to hear you're doing better and ready to jump right back into the swing of things. Just don't overdo right off the bat. Wouldn't want you to reinjure your back.

    I'm SO glad you're feeling better. I missed you so bad in class yesterday - you would have fell over laughing because I kept going the wrong way - and my ball rolled away just as I was about to sit on it lol! Glad you're back in the land of the living - take it easy on that back will ya!

Crappy Day

Hey everyone,

Today was not a good day for me. As you previous read I hurt my back over the weekend and have not been able to go to the gym. Today I had to sit in an all day meeting and I seemed to have gotten stiff from sitting so much. I was going to attempt to go to the gym after work but I was not feeling well. I did not eat much at all due to the pain making my stomach upset. Well I took some medicine and it felt better. I stretched a bit tonight and kept walking around because it made it feel better.

So I am going to take it easy one more day and see how I feel tomorrow night when I get home. I think I may go into the hot tub at the gym. Hopefully it will make it feel better.

Maybe you shouldn't be sneaking back into your own house late at night. Just kidding.
Hit the sauna at the gym when you stretch. Makes my muscles feel amazing.

    My big sister is an amazing photographer. (If only she was better at hurdling over black dogs in the middle of the night when her room is pitch black.)
