Thursday night my sons girlfriend asks if we want to do a step class, we were like sure.
So Friday morning I did my first step class today. What was I thinking?? I have been working out at the gym for the last few weeks so I thought my endurance got a little better. HA HA HA wake up Melissa and smell the coffee.
First of all I did not realize it was an advance class, so I start the work out,step up, step down, step over switch legs BLAH BLAH BLAH... It was going good then she started to add these hops and twists and I was like (B) you make me do one more of those I am going to kill you HA HA .
Wait it gets better she has us start running, excuse me I don't run, well not yet. So while everyone else is running I keep moving to keep my heart rate up. I really busted a sweat (for me).
Ok the music stops and I think cool this class is over, NOT she tells us to get weights and she has us do all this kind of bending and squatting and lunges, crunches with weights OMG.
Well I survived the class and you know what? I really think I will take her class again.
I ate enough calories- I drank plenty of water and I exercised.
Tomorrow is an easy day
I am going to walk the board walk at the NJ shore eat healthy food and have some fun.
Back to the gym on Sunday
