Hey all. Just wanted to pop in to quickly post my food and fitness. I did really well on calories yesterday.
Calories: 1,277 Fat: 48 g Carbohydrates: 104 g Protein: 121 g
My sodium was out of whack, but other than that, it was a good day.
Exercise: Walked 1 mile, 20 minutes.

Well, yesterday didn't go as well as planned. I had well over the maximum recommended amount of sodium for the day, and went over my calories considerably.
Damn Chinese buffet.
But! Today is a new day, and I am recommitting myself. I need this "sobriety" from bad foods, alcohol, and empty calories. I am proud of myself for making healthier choices in general over the past week. 3 out of 7 days not perfect, but 4 perfect days! I am happy with that. I have gone from 20% compliant to 60%. I only went a bit over one of my "bad" days, too, like by 100 calories, so I can even count that as a win.
Small victories, people! I am back on track today doing great with the eating and drinking plenty of water to flush out that sodium. I even walked a mile today, which is better than the nothing I have done for the past few days... I know it's the beginning of a great many days of exercising rigorously.

I didn't exercise yesterday, either, and went slightly over my calories. I had to work night shift last night, so I spent my free time sleeping. Today I will keep my calories lower.

Well, I gained a pound and didn't stick to my plan after 3 pm. I didn't feel well yesterday afternoon and let myself eat outside of my plan. Plus, we had country ribs for dinner which put me way over my calorie limit.
I am not even posting my intake, because I ate all sorts of things off plan. I don't know why, but I made up my mind to go off the reservation. I think it is that self-sabotage mindset. I was doing so well, so I must need to undermine my success.
However, I am back on track today, and that's what matters!

Did pretty well yesterday. Was a bit higher on calories, but under 1,500 still.
Breakfast: ViSalus shake with blueberries and strawberry phyto power mix-in
Snack: 1 cup coffee with 2 squirts of Coffeemate French Vanilla liquid creamer, 1 scrambled egg
Lunch: 1 beef hamburger patty (3 oz.) with 1 slice Kraft Singles
.5 tbsp Hellman's Canola mayo, and 1 tbsp Heintz no-sugar added ketchup
1 Arnold 100% Whole Wheat sandwich thin, lettuce
.75 cup raspberries, fresh
Snack: Special k protein plus, 1 cup, and .5 cup milk 1%
Dinner: ViSalus shake with 1 cup frozen strawberries and banana energy mix-in
Snack: 1 small glass (4 oz.) Sangria
Totals for the day...
Calories: 1,454 Carbohydrates: 152 g Fat: 59 g Protein: 81 g
My sodium was still down around 1,400 mg, so not too bad. I have kept it pretty low the last few days.
Exercise: 23 minutes on treadmill, 3.2 mph for 1.22 miles, 1.6 mile walk in 27 minutes (50 minutes total).
Not too shabby!
