Well, Hubby and I both had appointments for hair cuts this morning. They were both much needed by each of us. Mine had grown a lot in the last 6 weeks and it was really heavy. I told my hairdresser that I needed some weight out of my hair, but I still wanted the basic style just shorter. She agreed that there was just too much hair. She worked on it and gave me a great looking style for the hot weather. It is up off my neck but still has the length around my face, etc. She tapered it and layered it to take a lot of the weight out of the style. I do not mind the weight when the weather is cool, but just too much for me this time of the year. I do not have to worry if she gets it a little short, it will be out there in no time. I usually have to have it trimmed every 3 to 4 weeks. She also cuts Hubby's hair. He has thick wavy hair and it grows really fast like mine. She accuses us of taking a feritilizer for our hair. We do take our vitamins and minerals so I guess that keeps our hair healthy. It really grows when I take biotin, but I have not taken that in about 6 months.
While we were out Hubby wanted to go to a local resturant that has great meatloaf. I said okay. I had their roast veggie salad with vinegar and oil dressing and was it good. I had not had this salad since last summer and forgot they had it on their menu. They roast their veggies fresh and if they do not have roasted veggies, they have it off the menu. It is listed under their column "available seasonally, inquire about these items".
We came home and Hubby took a nap before going to work. Miss Coco curled up beside him. She feels it is her duty to help him nap before work and then she is ready to go out and run when he is leaving. He now gets up about 15 minutes earlier so he can take her out for her run before he leaves. She then jumps upon the bench in front of the window to watch him leave. She knows what time he is suppose to be home and she runs in about 15 minutes early and jumps on the bench to watch for him coming in. She then runs and jumps on me to open the door so she can get out and meet him when he is getting out of his truck. I always make sure that he is parked and has the motor off before I open the door. It really confuses her when he has to work a 10 hour shift as she is sitting there over 2 hours before he is coming in. This is when she will come and look at me as if to say, well, where is he.

Well, hubby is working a double again today. I stayed in bed until about 8:30 when I was awaken by someone sniffing my face. Little Miss Coco was trying to get my attention, She had no food or water in her dish. I got up and gave her both, got dressed. She was really thirsty and drank quit a bit, She then went to the door and sat patiently for me to go out with her. We went out the back and she was playing with the cats. They ran and jumps and spent about 45 minutes just until they all dropped in little furry piles at my feet as I sat in the chair drinking my hot tea.
I told her I had to run tot he post off and a couple of other quick stops. She ran to the front door and I did not have the heart to leave her. We went to the post office and it was not busy so she sat patiently in the car for me. I went to the drive thru at the bank as they were busy and I did not want to leave her in the car very long. We sat in the bank line for 20 minutes. She would have been too hot in the car if I went inside. I called Panara Bread and placed an order so it would be ready for pick up when I got there. I was planning on bringing it home for my lunch. Well, Miss Coco thought it should be hers. I finally had to stop the car, take the chicken salad and put it in the trunk. I could not drive and keep an eye on her and make her stay out of the bag.
She danced all the way in the house thinking this was hers. Finally, I put it on my plate and she sat patiently waiting for her bite. Finally, I gave her a little bit in her bowl and she was happy.
I will say that she has been full of herself today. She has sat with me watching Oprah this afternoon. Then we went back out for another run with the cats. She is now curled up taking a nap.

Hubby got me a beautiful card today. We worked the market and left about 3:30 as no one was there. We came home, let Coco run around the yard for a while and he wanted to take me to a local Mexican resturant before it got late and it would be crowded due to Mother's Day. The owner is very nice and I had talked to him about what they have on the menu which is not really what the item is. I love chilli relloies and what they serve in most of the resturants here is a slice of bell pepper over the stuffing you want and covered with nocho cheese. He agreed to make me some about two weeks ago and I went by and picked them up. The real thing that is. He came over and sat down and we talked for a long time this evening. I discussed that I was not happy with a lot of foods served as the real thing in our area. He told me that they served what the customers would accept. He said he use to have customers that wanted the real chill relloies and he would make them on weekend and then the economey turned and people were not willing to pay for them and the ones that were came to eat less and less and eat more at home.
When we were paying our bill, he started talking again. Telling us about his family and his children. He is divorced, but discussed about how much time he spends with his children and that he does not come to the resturant on Saturday days as that is the time with his children, the zoo, museums, movies making sure. He was talking about his dogs and cats and that his mother had moved from Mexico, so she would be at his home to help with his children as he has them half the year. He took Hubbies cell phone number. He was talking about his mother cooks authentic Mexican food daily and he wanted to know what I liked. He said he would have her make me some real tamalles and some harmany soup, and other dishes and he will call Hubby and tell him when she will be cooking and for us to come over so I can try a lot of the real foods of his homeland. I am so excited about this as I love trying new foods and the real thing. He said she cooks with fresh and from scratch not like a lot of the things in the resturant industry.
