Hubby and I got up early and took little Miss Coco for her Spa day. We went to a place here that bakes bread for lots of the local resturants. They have opened a little storefront on to the bakery. They have wonderful food. It is all freshly made and served up with a smile from the girls that work on the floor. I had heard they had the best bagels in town. The most like a New York bagel. I have not had a good bagel since the one bagel bakery here went belly up in all the economic upheavel. I had curry chicken salad on a bed of fresh garden greens and it was great. Hubby had a roast beef sandwich (he only ate half and saved the remainder for his dinner tonight at work) as he had a large piece of hummingbird cake that tasted delightful. I ate one bite as it looked so good. I got a plain bagel with cream cheese to go and that was my dinner tonight. I will say, it is the best bagel I have had in a long time. I do not buy the ones at the grocery because they at not good to me. I may make their bagel a once a month treat for me.

Well, Miss Coco looked delightful when we picked her up from her spa day. Her side is healing very nicely and the hair is beginning to grow back. I have talked with four people this week that had a problem with the same medication for thier furry babies. One has permanent liver damage and one lady lost her baby. I am really upset that I ever let them talk me into this medication. Hubby keeps reminding me that we had other babies before and we never had them on these type of medications. I am opposed to so many of the drugs that the doctors put humans on, I do not understand why I did not check further before I gave her the first dose. Well, this has taught me a lesson. Complete and through research before she has any type of meds again. I certainly researched her food, etc.

I will say she is bouncing around like she use to and runs and plays with the cats.

Well, that is how I feel now, but in August when it is up to the 100 degree I will be wanting some of this cold. One day I had to work in a store where the heat was not working but we could not cut off the fan,, so it was as cold inside the building as outside with the air blowing directly on me. I thought the day would never be over. Today I work in a store where every time the large doors opened, the cold air blew right across me. I am again in my jammies all wrapped up in a coverlet with the heat going.

Coco apparently thinks this is allf or her. She is in my lap and snuggling under my coverlet. There is one spot on my legs that is really warm. I hope the little heater decides to stay there. I was sneezing yesterday when I came home so I took a DayQuil and it seems to have knocked it out before it got started.

Hubby called me to tell me he is going on extended shifts and will be working this weekend. We agreed that we cannot complain about that as before Christmas they were talking lay-off which is still a possibility in the future. It depends on the economy and if people have money to spend. I know, we have found ways to cut down on our spending and I know lots of others are doing the same.

Hope you are feeling better! I hate what the economy is doing to the average person. We make cutbacks and they raise the prices on everything while we get less and less for our money. Still I am thankful I still have a job even if I got cut back to part time after 5 years of full time, I know things could be so much worse. Enjoy your little pet warmer! Quincy does the same with me at night, I lay on my side usually and he snuggles against my back.

Well, this was not a real eventful day. Things were slow at work today. I did get to the hair salon this morning and got my hair cut as it was looking shaggy.

It is cold again tonight and we are going to have freezing temps. I am all snuggled under my coverlet watching some TV and surfing on the web. Little Miss Coco is curled up at my feet tonight. She did not want to stay in my lap as she usually does.

Hubby will be home about one and we will sit and have a little conversation before we turn in for the night. So far, my work has been scheduling me for the afternoon shift which allows me to stay up until he gets home

It is still cold here but is due to warm up by the weekend. I went to work today and the heat was not working and we were unable to turn off the fan. It actually felt colder inside than when people opened the door and walked in. I had to sit with my coat wrapped around my legs under my desk. I have been sneezing since I got home so I hope I am not comming down with a cold as a results. I have been really careful this year not to expose myself and get a cold this year

I am home wrapped up in a coverlet with Coco trying to help me keep warm. She is snuggled up next to me and occassionally she gets under the coverlet with me and pushes up against my legs

Well, it is really cold here. We went to the market yesterday for about 30 minutes. No heat and just too cold. Everyone around us was closed. The few that were open, were getting ready to leave. We decided not to even try going today. Hubby has been helping me clean the storage area. I have really been dreading tackling this. We really got rid of a lot. We decided if we have not used it for a couple of years, we will not. A few of the things we will be selling at the market. Others have no value to anyone. I had several racks of clothes stored there for both myself and Hubby. We will be cleaning these and probably selling them.
I have lost weight and they are all too big for me. I have some really nice clothes so I should beable to get a little for them. Some may go to a consignment shop.

Miss Coco thought it was all a game. She would jump into the trash bag we had to put things in. She would tty to get between us as we worked and that we should be playing with her. As Hubby moved things to the trash she joined him on every trip. I know she really enjoys us being home with her. Normally, she would be at the market with us and have all her groupies coming by to see her. As I am working now, she is alone more than she has been accustom to. She is adjusting pretty well. I am not crating her as long as she stays out of trouble. When I come home, I find all her toys piled together on the bed as this is where is is apparently spending most of her day.
