Well, we were cold today, but not as severly as I am seeing for other people on the news. We had rain, wind and temperature drops, but we were able to still function. I feel for the people caught in the onslaught of this storm. (So much for Global Warming, as this storm does not say that ). I am hoping that people can get with thier familes and friends for the holidays. We are going north into Georgia and so far there is not snow in the area, just really cold.

We were at the market today and there were people there dispite the cold temps. They were spending as we are at the deadline for Christmas

Miss Coco is feeling better, so she was excited when certain people came by to see her. She is getting better and hope this keeps in that direction. She was pulling Hubby down the road today. Can you imiage a little 10 pound ball of flull pulling a 250 lb man, but he was allowing her to do this It was a site as on Monday, she could hardly walk around the yard to take care of her business

Well, I got up this morning and begain to put some veggie soup together. Hubby got up and wanted me to go with him. We left and went to Target. He had not finished his shopping so we went in and he picked up a couple of things and we left. I am not sure what my purpose was unless he just wanted me to go along for the ride.

We came home and finished the veggie soup and I made a little pan of cornbread as Hubby wanted that with his soup.

We took Coco out and let her run around. We then treated the place on her side where she has crewed herself so bad. We cleaned and put on the medication and just let her rest for a few minutes. She does not want us to do this, but we are trying to keep her from getting infected. Then she just seems to be releaved when she discovers that it is not bothering her so much when we get through.

Our groomer cut all the hair away from the area for us to get treatment more effectively. . She is keeping her for us over the Christmas Holiday while we are out of town. She will keep the treatment going for us. I am thankful everyday for finding her as our groomer. She understands these things and is willing to keep the treament up for us.

Well, I have finished my Christmas Shopping, but hubby has not. We went this morning to pick up a few things he wanted for different people. I laughed at him and told him not to put so much thought in it. He walked into the store went to a rack and picked up one item, asked the clerk for it for another size and walked out with it. I think it is something that his sister will like, but he really did not shop or look at any other item. This drives me bonkers. I want to see what else is available and prices before I make a selection.

We will be shopping some more in the morning so I hope the rain holds off until we get back home

That is men! They walk into a store, see 1 item, pick it up and they are done! Brian gets so frustrated because of how long I take shopping, he can get his shopping done in 15 minutes and I will take 2 hours! LOL

The was *I* read the title, I thought you were shopping for a new hubby!

Men defnintely have that "goal oriented" thing that can make me frustrated at some times but envious at others. Hey, he's done with his shopping now! You should let him do the rest of it lol!

Well today has been mixed for me. We got up early Hubby is off as per the doc until tomorrow. He has been taking his meds and is feeling better. We got up early and Coco was feeling much better. She was very unhappy that she could not go with us today. We went and put new tires on my car.......Guess what my major Christmas present is this year....well, I cannot complain, we did nave enough money to pay for them.......

We received 50.00 dollar off coupon from a place that Hubby like to get his clothes. There was no amount you had to spend to get the dollars off. I told him to pick out his Christmas there as he needed some new slacks and a wonderful jacket was on sale. That is the major part of his Christmas.

Little Miss Coco has been having a really hard time with the chewing on her skin. We put a bell on her neck so she cannot reach her bod to chew. We are treating the chewed area with antibotic cream and keeping it covered. Monday she would not move at all and I had to pick her up to take her outside. Today she is running around and eating. I gave her a Danactic this morning and she really enjoyed that. She ate her regular food after that and drank her water. She is much more active and feeling better. I really hope this is a good sign. She is due to go back to the vet on the 4th of January and I am not happy with this reaction to the flea medication. I did not see the regular vet, but his assistant when he changed her meds and I quetioned him about them. I was not comfortable giving her interrnal meds for fleas. He assured me they were very safe. I have talked with 3 people this weekend that have had similiar reaction in their little ones after taking these meds. If I cannot see the regular vet, I will not be using this place anymore. I questioned this assistant in changing everything that she was on.

I know whe is feeling better, because she is crawling up on the bed and sleeping on her back. She has not done this for the last week or so. This is her favorite position and I knew something was not right with her.

I keep encouraging her he move around, but it only takes opening the door and the cats make a bee line for her and they start running and playing
