My husband & I are involved in Westie Rescue and were asked to pick up a young female from our local shelter. When we arrived, we were handed this precious 10 week old puppy! I cannot imagine how anyone could let this puppy get out and then not even look for her. She was picked up as a stray and no one ever looked for or adopted her. Unbelievable. She is as cute as can be and cuddled up in your arms. She acts like she's used to being handled so we feel she came from a family. That's so sad. Happier times are ahead for this litte one though now that she's in rescue. It won't be long before she'll find her "furever" home and the family that she deserves.

She is adorable! I can't believe a family just let her go! And good for you for opening your home to neglected and abused animals until they can be properly placed. We need more people to open their hearts.

I'm not sure that I could do what you do. I would want to adopt every one of the puppys that I rescued or fostered.Thank you for being their Human Angel.

She's so precious! How could this little girl not be adopted?? Thank God she found her way into your home, so that you can love her the way she deserves to be loved, until she finds her furever home. What a sweetie :)

Oh my goodness... I wish you lived in Indiana, I would take her!!! She looks my Szuka when she was a baby!!! Good for you for picking her up, loving and taking care of her until she does find a home. Wow! What a cutie!!! I cannot believe she was all alone!!!! 10 weeks!!! I got Vinny older than that b/c the breeder didn't want the babies gone too soon... what a sweet girl. She will be rescued soon. If you were close to me, we'd take her home for sure!!!

oh, ella how can anyone let her go!!!! i wish i was in your approved adoption area, i'd get her today !! i know she will have a home soon!! you are such an angel for not only all the vounteer work you do for rescue, but for taking these sweet westies into your home for foster care. there is a special place just for you in heaven.... of course it's going to be filled with westies!!!!!

OK, I'm a sap, my daughters laugh at me because I cry some times at '
He was born on April 9th and weighed 8 lbs 4oz. He is our sixth grandson and eigth grandchild. His older brother isn't too sure about him yet, as most three year olds would be. I'm sure in a few years they'll be the best of friends. We're in Oklahoma and he and his parents are in San Diego so a trip is set for next week. We have to go and welcome our new family member!
