HI everyone,

I have heard from Susie, Colin is still very weak as he left the infection too long. Susie has spoken of the problems she has with Colin and he had it in his head not to go to hospital as he does not want to die there. This has made the present situation so much worse. Susie said that Colin has many tubes in and out of him. He is still in intensive care and will stay there for a while longer.

Susie has told me to thank everyone for their good wishes, prayers as so on and that she and her family does appreciate them. Keep them coming. Susie will need your positive vibes/prayers and love for a few days yet.

When I have any more news I will let you know.

Colin made it through the surgery, late this afternoon. I will let you know when I get any updates from Susie. (SUSIEPH1). Susie has touched the hearts of so many people and friends that she has on here, and yet even when Colin was very unwell she still thought about letting everyone know.
What an incredible woman.

cheers

good morning, Susie (Susieph1) asked me to let you all know that her beautiful husband is in hospital in Melbourne, very sick. He goes in for a operation at 12 noon today for a operation on his gallbladder. He has a blockage in the gallbladder which has cause a major infection and he is now on 3 different antibiotics. They did nearly loss Colin a few nights ago which is why he is now in Melbourne. Susie and her daughter has flown to Melbourne this morning to be with Colin.

As I don't know all of Susie's Sparkfriends I thought I would blog here and hopefully this will reach many of her friends.

Please send some prayers and positive vibes for Colin and Susie in their hour/s of need. They do need our love. I will let you know when I hear any updates.

On the positive side I have been a member of Sparks for 900 incredible days. As you all know as I have said I have made so many improvements in my life, that I really cannot list them anymore.

I have changed so much for the better. I would also say that I make healthy choices 95% of the time now but even the last 5% is not really as naughty as they were previous of joining Sparks.

Here's to the next 900 days LOL

cheers
Wendy

Update for the last 2 weeks.

I took a few days to get over my Adelaide trip and all the dramas that happened in Family Court. Now I have been spending a lot of time with the kids as Jason has shifted into his own rental property. So now I get to baby sit as Jason has a small part-time job. I am willing to do this as I think Jason also needs a bit of freedom.

I had to go back down Adelaide last Wednesday to see the Nephrologist. Rained all day, shouldn't complain as this is the first time it has rained since last July so we really did need the rain. But it made the driving so much harder, I am so glad that I took my father down with me as he had to drive home.

The first appointment was for a iron infusion then I saw the Nephrologist. Even though my blood test were not as good as there should have been, I had told him that I had been stressed, he wasn't over concerned. He has cut down on tablet from every day to twice a week. Hoping that will improve the creatinine levels.

So now I have to look after myself again, I have improved these levels before. A lot less stress now so I hope this helps.

I was very tired on Thursday but as I had 3 birthday in a row, including my mothers, on the 1st, Brodie's (grandson) on the 2nd and my Dad's on the 3rd, I still decided to do some cooking starting on Thursday, then on Friday I made little quiches. Also managed to do shopping for things for the party of my grandson in these days.

Had morning tea over my Mother's then took the kids back in the afternoon for a little party for my Mum. Brodie's party was Saturday, then I looked after the kids that night. Then I had my son and his girlfriend visit me yesterday for a few hours then I went over to see Dad for his birthday.

On the food front I did very well, I did not overeat at all. In fact on Saturday I ended up making a cold meat and salad platter and that is all I ate that day, no cake. In total over the birthday parties, I ate one small quiche and one party size sausage roll and one small piece of cake, (Cake was from Mum's morning tea).

I was also invited out for dinner Saturday night for Mum and Dad's birthday with my brother and his wife, I refused because I had already celebrated with Mum. I did not feel as though I wanted to eat something big for a meal. Matter of fact I had a plum and a pear for my dinner.

No wonder i feel tired and worn out. But I managed to keep going and achieved all of this. So much better than a few years ago as I would not even attempted to do anything like this.

I do hope a get a quiet week this week. Although already I have a exercise class this afternoon, look after the kids on Wednesday and Friday afternoon, also I have exercises on Thursday. So that is 4 days already taken care of so I don't like my chances of a quiet week LOL. Oh Well, such is life.

Have to make a appointment with doctor to get the results on my toe to see if that is healed. I had a xray over a week ago so need to find out. Might have to be next week LOL. I am going to strap my toes up and see if I can wear shoes to exercises as I have not been able to wear closed in shoes since I fractured my little toe.

So that is a snapshot of my life at the moment. Busy, busy, busy.

cheers

good news

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Hi, I am home safe and sound from the trip to court in Adelaide, it was a long 2 1/2 days sitting in court.

Lots of dramas in court but Jason won, he now has full sole custody of my 3 grandchildren.

Can't believe it, but I feel sorry for the kids. But the mother has done this.

I broke my Sparkstreak of logging in, missed out yesterday as I could not use the computer.

Good night I am going to bed.

    Hi Wendy,
So glad you survived the trip and time in Adelaide. I know it would have been very difficult all round for you and Jason. It is indeed unfortunate that the mother has brought this on herself, though thankfully the court has seen sense despite the dramas, so the grandchildren can now have some stability. Wishing you all the very best and I know the kids will love spending time with you. Have a good rest - you deserve it. And I wouldn't worry about that Sparkstreak...one day with this going on is very understandable!
Love and hugs, Nattacia

They do need stability and lots of love and care. I know you are very loving and are continually there for them. Being in Court for 2 1/2 days doesn't sound like any fun so I'm glad that's over for you and everything turned out well. Prayers will be said for good Health and Happiness for all of you.

    Hi Wendy Dear,
Glad all went well and the kiddies will now have safety and stability in their lives.
I know that you and Jason will be a much better influence in your grandchildren's lives, than the unsuitable and risky live they lived with their Mother .

Perhaps as the years go by the kiddies mother will disassociate herself from the outside influences and be able to keep in touch with her children,
I know they will be safe and happy with you and Jason .
Hope you have a good rest now xx much love Susie xxx emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

The most important thing happened . . . Jason has full custody of those kiddos! I am so happy for him AND the kids. Yes, it is probably going to be a difficulty in those kids' lives with this change, but as you say, their Mom brought this on herself. **SIGH** Hoping this ends all the drama.
