Hi, I will explain about the exercise class I go to. It is aimed for the older person. So it is gentle exercises. A lot of stretches, strength and a lot of movement. I must admit that it does raise my heartbeat and makes me breathe heavy and fast. Because of how it affects my breathing it is also cardio for me. The instructor breaks it up into about 20 to 25 minutes parts then we have a drink, then start again. The first part is a lot of movement , second part is usually chair exercises, third part is with a exercise ball, then the cool down. We use weights, resistance bands, noodles and other things, it all depends on the day. I do work up a sweat.
By my pedometer yesterday I did over 2000 steps there. I do enjoy it. Feel good today.
