My back has improve, still has a niggle in it but so much better than yesterday.
I have completed quite a bit of walking and chair marching today, still trying to walk it out. I am going to try some gentle stretches after to see if this helps. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to start doing more.

    Take it easy Wendy, it wont take long until your back will be better and you are back at it again. Just exercise the bits that you can, gently does it emoticon

Hello everyone, not as much achieved today as I have a very sore back. I did do a lot of walking to see if I could walk it out but no such luck. The only place I am comfortable is in bed so that is where I am heading. I hope it is better tomorrow

    Hope you feel better. When you feel better look into some ST for your core. I used to suffer from lower back pain but now that I regularly do ST to strengthen my core muscles I don't seem to get back aches as much. emoticon

Another good day with lots of exercising, very healthy eating. I am so happy but my back is a little bit sore at the moment.

So today I did 1 minute boxing
1 minute arm cycling
300 chair marching steps
20 calf raises
20 standing abductions
9 min lower body workout
10 min kickboxing workout.

So all is good except for the hot weather 3rd day in the 40C or over 104 and still hot tomorrow but then it will cool down YA.

I am going to try some air boxing today. I really want to get a bag and some gloves this year. I think it's great exercise.

1st Jan 2012 New Year's Day

A great day today, I have achieved all that I set out to do

Calories eaten was on target and ate really healthy, met my nutrition goals.

Exercises I did the 7 minute Upper Body workout with dumbbells
the 10 minute Bootcamp cardio workout
500 steps in chair marching
40 calf raises
1 minute Heel toe exercises
1 minute boxing
1 minute arm cycling
plus a total of 4000 steps.
plus stretches.

I can feel it in the legs. and arms. But I feel good because I have achieved this.

    Fantastic start to the year, Wendy! We only have aircon in the kitchen and the fans in our bedrooms only blow hot air on us - very hard to get any proper sleep if at all.... Summer is not my favourite season!

    with the airconditioning on, I can do it. It was 44 C or 111 F here yesterday and not going to be much cooler today

Saturday was about 40 C 104 F
Sunday the 44C or 111 F
Today is about 40 again.

Last day of the year.

More on my plans for 2012 and how i am going to achieve my weight loss. As I eat pretty healthy most of the time now I am not going to include this

1. Is to have junk food once every 2 months but make it the healthy kind ie Subway

2. Eat more fibre. To regularly eat between 30 to 40 grams per day.

3. Weigh more regularly

4. Increase vegetable intake to at least 10 per day.

5. eat more fruit 2-3 pces every day.

6. regularly eat between 1300 to 1500 calories per day.

7. to be more consistent in what I am doing

8 Don't let my son stress me out. So I don't emotionally eat. That has been a problem the last half of the year.

9. When shopping resist the temptation to buy naughty food. I don't need it. Don't make the excuse that it is for my son because when he upsets me I will find it.

10. look for healthy recipes and be adventurous emoticon

I have also changed my amount I want to lose is 25kgs. Which is a fraction over 2kgs per month or 480 grams per week.

So Wendy get your body moving.

I have cleaned out my freezer, pantry and fridge this morning so now I know what I have and there is no naughty food in the house.

I can do it.

    The problem I have with fruit and some veggies? I have to be careful about too much potassium, y'know? LOL

    Oh Wendy it is so much easier if you're in control of your food. I have to have naughty food because my husband is skinny and a moderate eater. It makes it harder. Nevertheless they're good goals. I think 300 grs a week would be a more doable target but you have to do your own experience.

    Exercise more and you can raise your calorie levels. 1300 to 1500 is hard to stick with for the long term. I regularly eat between 1800 and 2000 calories and am losing well: between 2 and 5 pounds a week. That's with a relatively large amount of exercise, 6 to 7 hours a week, but it really does keep your metabolism burning harder.
