Hi, I have been to the doctors and it was not good news, my kidneys have deteriorated. I am not stable any more. I have an urology appointment next week then an appointment with my nephrologist in December so I will find out more information then.

I will keep trying and doing what i am doing now. I will not give up yet.

Had a really good exercise class today, worked really hard and lots of perspiration. LOL.

I do have another blood test on Friday, so I will find out what that one indicates.

I am still hoping for some improvement, I did it before. So here goes.

    I agree, never give up!

Even dialysis is doable, but hopefully it won't come to that--we're all pulling for you, sweet friend!

Hang in there!

Never give up - never surrender! Hopefully, your doctors will be able to provide additional guidance on diet, meds - whatever it takes to reverse this trend. Keep us posted.

what a difference a week makes from my binge last Saturday night, I have been eating very sensibly and healthily. I am planning and cooking very healthy meals to freeze them in healthy portion sizes.

Exercises they had only one exercise class for the week and been doing what I can here because it has been very hot, got up to 41C about 105 or so F yesterday.

I do need to be very careful now because I have undone a lot ofl the good work that I had been doing re my kidneys. Had a couple lots of blood tests lately and they are not as good as they were. Need to see the doctor on Monday for the results of the blood test I had done last Tuesday. Not looking good because they rang me to make an appointment. Oh well, such is life.

Dad and Mum are on their way home. Be home Tuesday sometime.

The weather changed during the night now it is cold and we have had rain.

Have a great weekend

Hi everybody,
I have made big changes to me, ya for me. What I was doing before, I am back weighing my food, not using my eye to judge, although there hasn't been that much difference. Some things were a little bit and others were down. But I am now eating very healthy and doing well with my calories and protein. All my nutrients were pretty good today.

Exercises, went for a walk today, well two actually, the first 30 minutes was walking on flat ground and the other time, my son and I went out bush to take the dog for a walk and we walked up and sown some sand hills for another 30 minutes. The second time I would have burnt more calories than the first because it was hard going, walking in the dirt.

Dad is out of hospital, he needs to see the doctor on Thursday, then they are leaving to come home. So they will be home probably next Tuesday.

my exercise class was cancelled as no one turned up except for me. Proud to say that because before it would have been me that didn't turn up. It is only in the 33 C or the low 90's here. I know the class will be cancelled if it is over 37C or 100F. So now I will have to do my own exercises.

You did good turning up! It's nice to do your 'own thing' sometimes too. I love exercising at home. You'll be fine.

Too bad class was cancelled, but good for you that you did your own thing!! Glad your Dad is getting better. It is such a worry . . . seems strange when the roles of parents and kids are reversed. My parents are in their 80's and I constantly worry about them! But on the plus side, they really do take good care of themselves and each other.

It doesn't get into the 30's very much here in Tassie, just make sure you dring plenty exercising in that heat. I don't mind a bit of heat, I get a sweat up, then I think .. there does a bit of weight ..

Good on you for still doing your own exercises. Unfortunately I struggle with any temps over 30 degrees as I much prefer the winter to warmer seasons. Great going though!

thank you everyone for your comments on my blogs. I feel as though I have turned the corner in my life. Before when I ate anything like that it would not have even worried me, but truly I did not like how that made me feel. I know in future I will not be eating that much again, I won't say i will never eat chocky again but I will be only having 1 row from now on.

Feeling really positive at the moment.

Dad should be out of hospital Wednesday or Thursday, they will stay in Queensland for a few days after but will then slowly come home.

Off to exercises later on. So hopefully I will burn lots of calories. LOL

I plan to keep on eating very healthy.
